My very liberal daughter, who is a lover of Greek mythology, culture, history, etc….and has read and studied the Odyssey told me yesterday she has zero desire to see “that disaster and twisted take on one of the greatest novels ever written”. I was actually floored. She’s a big DEI fan too.

Anything real I've ever gotten regarding work has never been from a cutesy intro video, though I give a good one, since my YT channel has over 23,000 subscribers. I'm just a dude, not a sycophantic female.

Lots of times these inquiry video requests are just some company training their AI with your specialized info. I have not been contacted for a job in years now. I stopped applying this year.

So you spend all day filming stupid little videos and still get no response. They're not doing you a favor here. They're mainly wasting everyone's time. Some are even AI data scams.
