Some private schools in Chandigarh and Punjab pay teachers barely ₹25,000 a month. A friend of mine used to travel daily from Mohali to Chandigarh around 15–20 km and spent nearly ₹300–400 every day just on fuel.
Then around ₹2,800 gets deducted as tax or other charges, plus another ₹3,000 for some fund that’s only returned when leaving the school. Add food and daily expenses, and after working from 9 to 5 often even beyond school hours she’s left with hardly ₹7–10k in hand.
What exactly do people expect in such conditions? When basic survival itself becomes difficult, some people get pushed towards wrong choices for incentives just to meet daily needs.
Instead of only blaming individuals after a paper leak, maybe the real issue needs to be addressed too. Every time something happens whether a paper leak or even a blast in Punjab political blame games begin instantly.
Mr. Kejriwal, work on the root cause. Don’t just trigger Gen Z emotionally find a real solution to the system that’s pushing people into desperation.

@ku1deep @saffrontrail Can 100% vouch for these. Wearing since the time they came out around 10 months back I guess. A1!!

@ShivrattanDhil1 And yet we have restaurants selling adulterated / fake food for 300 rupees a dish.

At this pace, India is slowly heading toward a future where it could resemble Dubai heavily dependent on 90-95% imported food! Dubai imports food because it has no choice!
Not because we lack land or capability, but because our own farmers are being pushed out! If this continues, farmers will eventually stop growing. And when production falls, imports will rise.
Here in India, just think about it 6 months of hard work goes into a crop. Water is drained, soil nutrients are exhausted, and yet the farmer ends up at a loss.
Let me break it down:
Labour costs around ₹50, cold storage ₹115, empty bags ₹35, seeds ₹50, fertilisers and sprays another ₹30–50 roughly ₹300 per bag in total.
And what does the farmer get? Around ₹200 per bag this time as of now
That means we, as farmers, are actually paying ₹100 from our own pockets just to avoid dumping the produce selling at a loss.
We don’t value what we are consuming not the vegetables, not the water, not the soil that’s slowly being depleted.
And the biggest irony? Everything else is becoming expensive, except the food grown by the farmer! ☺️🙏🏻

This movie itself should be illegal tbh. Mixing fiction with so much of what happened in reality.
Aditya Dhar will come out and say the movie is fiction and nothing to do with reality.
People will assume this is what actually happened because of the closeness of timelines and reality with fiction
English

I Will Never Watch This Propaganda
Movie DHURNDHAR 2...
Because It is Promoting A Misguided measure like Demonetization..
A Step due to which the Country's Economy has yet to get back on track,
and as a result of which more than 100 people lost their lives while standing in queues.
Please Don't Watch #Dhurndhar2

I still remember how cheap Xiaomi flagship phones used to be.
I had the Mi 9 back in 2019 – it was an international unit, and I paid Rp 5,850,000 (around $345 / ₹31.9K) for the 64GB variant, adjusted to today’s exchange rate.
Now the Xiaomi 17 costs Rp 14,999,000 (around $885 / ₹81.8K) for the 256GB variant, which is almost triple the price of the Mi 9 64GB 😳

@grok @Gabbar0099 What is the possibility that you are saying this because you are made by a US company? Just give %.
English

@Gabbar0099 0%. Benjamin Netanyahu is alive and active. Multiple fact-checks from Israeli officials, Snopes, Jerusalem Post, and others confirm recent public appearances and statements as of March 12, 2026. Death rumors from Iranian media and social posts are debunked misinformation.

@DealsDhamaka Wellbi for the win.
Great fabrics, although fit could be better
English

@him__anshu Bhai, why not Brezza VXi AT, Brezza CNG MT or even Victoris AT then? With Rs 4 per km running cost, it takes the charm away of saving running cost.
English

₹10.99 lakh for eVitara isn’t great pricing because of the Battery-as-a-Service cost of ₹4 per km.
My GLA diesel returns 15 km/l in the city, and the running cost is just ₹6 per km.
₹4 per km immediately kills the purpose of an EV.
Maruti Salesmen will have tough time explaining BaaS to an average customer. Rather, something like 13.99 lakh including battery would have made sense.
Windsor, Punch EV & Nexon 45 still make great sense under 16 lakh

@CyrusDhabhar Difference is the weight in your voice vs someone else's.
I am sure even you are very well aware of it.
English

@him__anshu And I have a counter opinion, simple. Or am I not allowed to have an opinion on someone else’s opinion.

@dr_sheena_derm @PavanKalyanRM Whats your pincode if you don't mind sharing 😅

@PavanKalyanRM Idk. I just checked online and found it on Jiomart electronics

@yabhishekhd Wouldn't be surprised if they launched at 65-70k after leaking 80k

🚨 Xiaomi 17 Series India Pricing 🇮🇳
I’ve heard from a source that the expected pricing could be:
💰 Xiaomi 17 – ₹80,000
💰 Xiaomi 17 Ultra – ₹1,25,000
If this turns out accurate, Xiaomi is positioning the 17 Ultra directly against Galaxy S Ultra & iPhone Pro models in India.
That’s a serious premium shift.
₹1.25L for a Xiaomi flagship — bold move.
Would you consider it at this price? 🤔

@markmeyourze Me and my wife completed a 9 days trip to Oman complete with Scuba, Hiking (with a guide), Via Farrata (rock climbing) & Zip line in around 2.5 lakhs including everything.
Oman is soo underrated and beautiful *and economical*
English

One non-negotiable in Oman: rent a car.
Taxis are crazy expensive. We rented from the airport (~20 OMR/day, overpaid). City rentals can be as low as 10 OMR/day. Petrol is cheap. Roads are excellent. Traffic rules are strict. Got a speeding ticket & not proud about it.
Food in Oman deserves its own tweet.
Many veg-friendly options- falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, salads, fresh juices.
Affordable, fresh, and surprisingly good.

Never would have any country's two largest democratic parties behaved in a manner that @INCIndia and @BJP4India behave on this platform
It is disgusting to say the least
Feel ashamed to even say these 2 parties ever formed the govt in our country

Imagine if the rider was not wearing a helmet.
All the blame would have been shifted towards him.
We get fined for not wearing one, but even with all gear, were forced to die on the road sponsored by govt.
Jaswinder kaur@TheReal_Jassi
PWD - BJP DJB - BJP CM - BJP MP - BJP PM - BJP And they together couldn’t build a road properly despite multiple complaints by RWAs. Media will call it an accident, it is actually a government sponsored murder.
