A diet that is making every aspect of your health better cannot possibly be bad for your heart at the same time. Someone who fixes their obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, inflammation, etc., is NOT going to have a heart attack because LDL went up. This makes zero sense.

1/5 Statins are Mycotoxins: Statins do their damage in two ways. By their Mevalonate Blockade and their Toxic content. The lactone ring of Mycotoxins such as Ochratoxin A mimic the HMG-CoA Reductase molecule in order to inhibit it, which in turn enables Statins to block the /2

Statins have zero physiological relevance to heart disease and major toxicity directly caused by interfering with cholesterol biosynthesis. They should all be withdrawn. ⁦@holmanm⁩ ⁦@LDLSkeptic⁩ ⁦@ElieJarrougeMDfrontline.news/post/cholester…

@dramerling @holmanm @LDLSkeptic @ElieJarrougeMD What about low dose pitavastatin 1mg for cardio inflammation? People like @PrevMedHealth Dr. Brewer advocate for this vs normal dose. I had a Type 2 MI w/AFIB RVR of 200 last week, got prescribed 40mg Lipitor w/ LDL 80 HDL 62 Triglycerides 40! I cut it in 4ths- taking 10mg.

1/3 Statins are THE gateway drug to ‘Polypharmacy’. Statins can cause Parkinson's Disease which is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. Many people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease need to take more than 20 pills a day to control their symptoms /2

@TheRealKildare @dramerling @LDLSkeptic @ElieJarrougeMD It's not only random, total cholesterol is a meaningless number because it tells you nothing about your risk of heart disease. As an isolated predictor, of CVD it falls way short. Trig:HDL ratio as a surrogate marker for insulin resistance is a more reliable marker for CVD risk.

@kryzia_marie @DanielWild30411 It wouldn't concern me. In the 1970’s guidelines set the threshold for BP at 140/90 mm Hg for people younger than age 65 and 150/80 mm Hg for those ages 65 and older. What changed apart from pharmaceutical company greed ? Tell your mom to stop worrying, it will elevate her BP 😉

@holmanm @DanielWild30411 My 82 yo mom just called me in a panic asking for homeopathic ways to lower blood pressure. Hers is 144/77. Based on what you said above, other than stopping carbs, is this a concerning level, in your opinion? It isn’t to me but I’m not nearly as well read as you are.

2/3 with an inconsistent effect. While this is a cash cow for the pharmaceutical industry, you have to wonder how different life would have been for these people if they’d never taken a Statin drug. I’m not suggesting every case of Parkinson’s Disease is caused by Statin /3

@Roncosmano1 @holmanm Haha! Nexletol is Bempedoic acid. Nexlizet is Bempedoic combined with Ezetimibe. Esperion is trialling triple therapy, that is Bempedoic, Ezetimibe and Atorvastatin!
