sounds like my in-laws, gifted us a large sum of money, 6 figures to buy a house, life changing for the wife and I. Told us after she made that money back in interest in a few months. The wife and I do ok, we've gotten by for over a decade. But it really kills my spirit when I work hard and dont make more than interest pays my retired mother in law, who spent her career as a foreclosure attorney, for a bank. I often think how if I did thinks I hated in life, things I found objectionable, I would have been so much more financially secure...
