Mumbai, Maharashtra: On Comedian Kunal Kamra, Minister Pratap Sarnaik says, "Kunal Kamra, whatever he says, a breach of privilege motion has been referred to a committee by the members of the Legislative Assembly, and he is giving his statement through that committee. But if his business is to sing songs about Eknath Shinde in a different way, then he should also understand the aggressive approach of Shiv Sainiks, as seen in the past. He should understand how Shiv Sainiks work, and he can learn about it if he wants...''

I just love CEC Gyanesh Kumar Ji. Perfect man to deal with Political Goons. "GET OUT"😂😂 CEC literally threw out TMC Delegation from his office in just 7 minutes😂 What happened👇 ~4-member TMC delegation led by loudmouth Derek O’Brien, reached @ECISVEEP office with regular R_Rona. ~Instead of discussions, reportedly Derek O’Brien started screaming at CEC & at one moment told CEC 'Not to Speak' Bhai, office CEC ka. Aaye tum log ho. And you scream at CEC as if you own the place? But galat panga liya iss baar. ~CEC told them repeatedly to 'behave themselves', but Derek thought he's in Parliament & can do anything. ~After 7 minutes, Gyanesh Kumar Ji lost his cool & bluntly told TMC delegation....'Nikal Jao Yaha Se - Get Lost' & they were literally shown the door. 😂😂 Now Derek is fuming & crying in front of Press. Who cares? 😂 I hope Gyanesh Kumar Ji presides over LS or RS some day & say this to CHINDIs. No Pyar, No Courtesy, Only Business!!😂😂

The #ceasefire (US-Iran) announcement marks a pause, but more importantly, it reveals where each actor now stands. The United States has stepped back from the brink it created. A deadline backed by threats of overwhelming force has given way to a conditional pause built around negotiations. That signals not strength alone, but recognition of limits: military objectives may have been met, but political end states remain elusive. Israel, for its part, finds itself in a more ambiguous position. Having driven escalation, it is now tethered to a process it does not fully control. Its objectives, particularly around regime change or long-term degradation of Iran, sit uneasily with a negotiation track shaped elsewhere. Iran emerges with a measure of strategic resilience. It has absorbed strikes, retaliated, and then shifted the frame from ceasefire to conditions for a broader settlement: sanctions relief, security guarantees, and regional de-escalation. In doing so, it has moved from target to negotiating actor without conceding core positions. Pakistan’s role has unfolded not as architect, but as conduit and catalyst. It has provided the channel through which messages travelled, deadlines were softened, and a narrow diplomatic opening created. That is not mediation in the classic sense, but it cannot be dismissed with stray witticisms either. What we are witnessing is not resolution of conflict , but repositioning. The war has not ended. It has entered a different phase, where coercion and negotiation now proceed together. For India, the implication is clear. Do not read this as de-escalation alone. Read it as a system under strain, where outcomes are still fluid. India should state its position with clarity: support de-escalation, safeguard maritime flows, and resist alignment with any one narrative of this conflict. This is not a moment for silence. It is a moment for calibrated voice. #WestAsia #IranUSConflict #MiddleEastCrisis #StrategicAutonomy #IndiaForeignPolicy #Hormuz #MaritimeSecurity

Supreme Court hears case of a man removed from CISF service because of unauthorised absence: ASG SD Sanjay: absence is of 11 days. Justice BV Nagarathna: this is a case for imposing cost with dismissal. We have been shouting. Pendency, pendency. Who is the biggest litigant? His dismissal is disproportionate. High court granted him relief. Instead of giving opinion that you will not go to Supreme Court, you still proceed against him. What had we said in the SCBA function? (referring to SCBA’s national conference where Justice Nagarathna recently spoke extensively about government being responsible for case backlog). We will impose cost in this case. We do not find any reason whatsoever to interfere with the impugned order. We fail to understand as to why the Union of India and others have approached this court. We dismiss this SLP with cost of Rs. 25000. Justice Nagarathna: we have taken the SCBA conference very seriously. It was not just to go to some resort and come back. We made preparations, we did homework. We spoke. Not to forget.

@MichaelVaughan There are more standard haircut shops in India, and you can easily afford to go there instead of putting India in a bad light
