Excel will get disrupted eventually since it's now possible to build these moderately complex throw away apps so quickly. Code here: github.com/andreisavu/for…

Hey @claudeai , let's build an app to plan feeding the baby before, during and after an upcoming trip. A few hours later:

There are so many me too AI ideas. We are just flooded with agents infra, sales agents, etc We are looking to back founders solving Vertical problems with or without AI. Founders who are working on breakthrough, N of 1, new ideas. If you are one of them raising pre-seed -> 2048.vc/fasttrack

While 1X and Figure founders are fighting who has the most overpriced robot that you can't even buy, Unitree is selling their G1 in Walmart for $20k. If Deepseek R1 was Sputnik, this is the equivalent of Gagarin.

It's official: I sold Superdev for $350k, but let me explain why (and how): I've started working on Superdev back on February. Truly believing that the concept of "vibe coding" is going to explode, and..I was right. I managed to take Superdev to just a bit below $7K MRR in just 2 months But, there was one problem, I was a little too late to the party. I had two options: 1. Double down, chase more traction, and raise capital (with all the risk, stress, and potential to lose sight of what I love: building cool stuff). 2. Sell Superdev and continue building meaningful AI stuff I choose the second option. Knowing that I'm not going to stop building anytime soon. With the help of @agazdecki, @acquiredotcom and the team, we've drafted a listing, and in about a *week* I had 5 LOIs.  Another week later, I found the perfect buyer, wrapped up due diligence, and closed the deal. Now, I’m working on a series of posts to share everything I learned from building (and selling) Superdev. What’s next? I’m so pumped for my next challenge, and I can’t wait to share more SOON!

@jasonlk @jeiting For critical workloads I would not touch new tech like this. You can already proxy and share without anything fancy.

@jasonlk A CEO of a company that is partnering with us posted on LinkedIn today that they are getting acquired by Gorgias. As a joke. Honored, but also?!?!

Cursor (or similar) is not on-call. Engineers are, but you'd be missing out a lot if you don't make use of it and invest in instrumenting it with docs, rules and MCP.

I'm amazed how bad is sharing Photos on iCloud. I used to be on Google Photos, but decided to switch to iCloud because privacy. I might even go back... What's a decent Cloud Photos service where you don't have to share your data with a tech giant?

@humanfromearth Well, if it was bad, then why does the community continue to move in this direction? Paradox...🥲

2025. Future is here. FastAPI - de facto web-framework. Pydantic - de facto validation and domain objects representation library. SQLA - de facto ORM, battle-tested by bajillion production setups. Syrupy - de facto snapshot tooling. Freezegun - de facto DT tooling for tests.
