It’s a shame that Jacinta Allan with such a sob story about her father didn’t extend the same empathy to Victorians during Covid lockdowns. All those businesses that went bust, employees fired, citizens harassed. Fk her dad and Fk Jacinta

This is my dad, Peter. He lost his job when the Liberals sold off the State Electricity Commission. Now we've brought back the SEC - and we're training the next generation of tradies to build Victoria's energy future.

In Japan, a new government survey shows that 90% of foreign residents say they are “satisfied” with their lives here. They particularly praise the living environment and Japanese culture. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: This high satisfaction rate exists precisely because Japanese people have been quietly making compromises and bearing the burden. Rising complaints about public manners, garbage issues, noise, cultural friction, and safety concerns are rarely reflected in these kinds of surveys. Foreigners are satisfied. Meanwhile, many Japanese feel increasingly uncomfortable in their own country. Japan was never meant to be a place where one group’s satisfaction comes at the expense of the host population’s peace of mind. When did we start prioritizing the happiness of newcomers over the well-being of our own citizens? This is not sustainable.

What if I told you Australia has a political nuclear button built into the Constitution? It’s called Section 57 ❤️ Most Australians have never even heard of it, but it gives the Senate the power to stop legislation and force the country back to an election through what’s called a double dissolution🤔 That means: Every MP loses their seat, Every Senator goes back to the people and Australians get another vote on the future direction of the country. Today - we have….. Your country being invaded. Broken promises on power prices. Broken promises on tax. Broken promises on super. Record migration (invasion) during a housing crisis. Young Australians locked out of home ownership. Small businesses drowning in costs while Canberra lectures everyone about “fairness.” And now they want the Senate to just wave this budget through like none of that happened. I say “Treason” The Senate is not supposed to be a rubber stamp. It exists to scrutinise governments when public trust starts collapsing. Millions of Australians feel like the social contract has been broken. Work harder. Pay more tax. Own less. And somehow be grateful for it? A double dissolution is a constitutional reset button and I WANT the reset. #AustraliaFirst 🇦🇺🫡 #MillionsMustGo 🇦🇺🫡

This is what is going to happen in Australia @JEChalmers. Your policies won't result in higher tax receipts. As you destroy incentive and decimate investment, capital is going to flee this country.
Alex Recouso@recouso

🇬🇧 The recent capital gains tax increase in the UK was expected to bring additional tax revenue. Instead, high-net-worth individuals and families are leaving the country, leading to a 10% fall in net capital gains tax revenue. Welcome to the Laffer curve, suckers.

🚨BREAKING: Japan just went full sweep: illegal immigrants are being tracked down, rolled up, and shipped out at record speed. They’re literally calling it “sushi rapping deportations.” (It sounds like a joke, it really isn’t). The Japanese people reject globalism.

The ABC chooses not to identify the three Darwin men who bashed him. Why? Of course, we know why, but if three white men had bashed a non-white man to his ultimate death, they'd run the story harder and faster than a 'Pauline Hanson is a racist' story. abc.net.au/news/2026-05-2…

Kennett had to sell assets. He inherited a net state debt of $32 bn (15.5% of the State's economy) - a fraction of your $165 bn current debt at 24%. But that's Labor's stock-in-trade: run up debt, run the economy into the ground, then wait until the Liberals are elected to sort out the stinking mess. Always was, always will be.

another week, another village in Nigeria massacred and slaughtered by Islamists. And as always, the world is silent. No word from the Pope. No word from the UN. Nothing from France. UK. Italy. Spain. Anyone. Just silence. So weird.

A Muslim woman refused to shake hands with the Crown Prince of Norway during a citizenship ceremony. Shaking hands is ‘haram’, but seeking refuge in a non-Muslim country, receiving free housing and food, and living on welfare is ‘halal.’ Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

@PatrickRyen I've been saying this for years! How long does a rebuild take!?? It was never clearly outlined and there's never been any real signs of progress if you watch the games closely. The thing that's always stood out to me though which is non-negotiable - effort and intent. Pathetic

Tonight was appalling. Yes, we had injuries, but Richmond were clearly the better side from the outset, and they had injury issues too. They are a club that almost had to ask the AFL to be able to play VFL listed players due to injuries! They had half of their best 23 out! Despite that when Richmond transition the ball they look organised and have confidence in each other and you can actually see what they are trying to do! Right now, we have no cohesion, no structure, and too many players lacking basic AFL-standard fundamentals. The way we’re setting up and being coached across multiple areas simply isn’t working. I’ve supported the heavy lifting and rebuild to this point, but too many players are stagnating or, worse, going backwards. That’s the most concerning part. Something has to change. If it doesn’t, we risk losing some of our most important assets, our young talent and drifting even further off track. I love this club, but I’ve seen enough. It’s time for change! #godons ♥️🖤👊
