The problem here is, this is a fundamental law in our game & the AFL has found a way to complicate it, again.
Anyone who has kicked a footy should know what play-on is, but now we’re arguing over literally centimetres. And now the precedent has been set.

The AFL has ticked off the decision to disallow Nick Watson’s goal after the half time siren. Statement: “The umpire, positioned directly behind the kick, correctly disallowed the score after Nick Watson moved off his line to the right and didn’t kick the ball over the man on the mark. Now all is settled, that game yesterday was an absolute farce. I expected Collingwood to get a ride from the umpires, but I didn’t expect it to impact the way it did. Non HTB’s, “Block” on IQ, “Sufficient intent” when nobody is within 50m of the ball and Daicos glaze. FOH flogs.
