As we start gearing up for the next phase of @dnx, I’m looking to bring at least 1 more person onto the team. It will be a growth/marketing focused role. When it comes to hiring I am very meticulous about who joins our team. It’s like adding a member to your second family and it’s THE most important part of our business. If you’re interested and trust me then shoot me a DM sometime and join our Discord. We’re in no rush but just know I’m on the lookout for talent.

@domainor It's not that complex. From the top 25 sales on NameBio in the exact same time period (last 12 months): .XYZ has 11 developed .NOW has 0 developed They are not comparable.

@hypernames So you assume all this .xyz in use just developed immediately after purchase ? How you know? The .now is new extension and most sales happened during this one year ! So no hurry to judge, Give them sometimes to see will develop or no .

If I see sales being shared in a new and potentially upcoming TLD, I check through the data at NameBio to see how many get developed into end-user sites. Yes, not all domains get dev'd, but it's normally a good indicator of healthy & organic adoption.

@AGreatDomain @TLDInvestors @Rebrand_Now Thanks Bob - yes, it's good to see those. For me, a stronger signal would be one of the sold names getting used. x.com/hypernames/sta…
Nikul@hypernames

@Rebrand_Now @TLDInvestors Thanks for sharing. It's good to see the usage, but I'm trying to isolate the signal that these businesses are willing to pay 4/5/6 figures for these names. Going through the top 50 sales from the last year, none have been developed... and under $5k, most are speculative buys.

@XTopDomains Thanks TD, really appreciate the detailed reply. Completely agree that it's more fun exploring new paths - plus you're all successful and experienced investors, so it's a calculated risk. Hopefully the end-user sales start coming in the future🤞

Thanks, Nikul. Sure, fair question: A demand in terms of five-figure-plus sales from one notable investor is much better than no such demand, right? So it's a reason to be optimistic rather than nervous. That's a strong confirmation that people are willing to spend big on premium .Now domains. .Now is still relatively unknown – imagine if it were 1000 times more popular/known, which can surely happen. But I get your point – it would have been better if that demand had included more buyers, especially end users. We look at .Now as a long-term journey, so there's plenty of time (many years) from our perspective for the TLD to really take off. At this point, it's about belief and vision, which we have continuously strong. Also because we see much room for improvement in our .Now offer – in terms of landing pages, presentation, and promotion of .Now domains. This is a special TLD (original, complex), and innovative solutions are deserved here. Working on them. Then, there's demand from end users, which is not necessarily the same as demand for high-end sales, and it is certainly not below our expectations at this stage. Guys like @Name__Groove and @kingific are experts in that field. .Now is our biggest inspiration in domaining, and we're thoroughly enjoying the process – far from being worried. I think working with a new TLD you believe in is far more fun than flipping names in well-established TLDs.

SOLD Gratitude.now for $12,988.00 USD Congrats to the buyer! And we do feel gratitude for our returning customer, who hits those BINs like a real pro. Your vision for .Now is inspiring, sir. As you, dear domainers, may have noticed, there have been quite a few .Now sales in recent weeks. How does it work? Well, it's simple – there's an investor/entrepreneur who has been collecting .Now domains – going back to the summer of 2025. Which is exciting – when you think about it, many of the five-figure .Now sales might actually be wholesale from the buyer's perspective. That highlights the immense potential some investors see in .Now domains – and that early, when it's mostly about potential. .Now has generated a community of domainers who believe in the TLD – and it seems to have drawn quite a few people outside the industry into domains. Since the buyer is buying right now – Gratitude is from less than two days ago – let's make it more exciting. While we don't know if they're reading our posts, there's a chance, so: Feel free to advertise your .Now domains under this post. We recommend that you check NameBio to see what types of .Now domains they might be interested in, and then pick up one to twenty domains you want to highlight. Note that this buyer doesn't seem to find negotiations entertaining – but is just pushing BIN buttons. And mainly through Spaceship or Namecheap, so be sure to list your domains (with BIN prices) on the Seller Hub if you want to increase your likelihood of a sale. We might also be buying – though that's not a promise, as we've already invested at scale (well over $50K in recent weeks and well over $100K total) buying from the aftermarket – from many of you. Your offer must be good – then maybe. If you're looking to buy rather than or as well as sell, you're welcome to check the offers too. Go ahead and feel free to present your .Now offers below. Only .Now domains, please.

@Rebrand_Now @TLDInvestors Fair points, thanks Shane. Makes sense if you're hand registering to test the waters - but personally, those three signals (alone) wouldn't be enough for me to take on premium renewals or pay $4k+ a pop for wholesale purchases. Perhaps I've gotten too cautious over time.

From a resale standpoint it is still early. Currently ~24k names have been registered, which leaves businesses a large number of hand registerable options to consider vs aftermarket prices. Supply/demand affects sales in all industries, and until supply diminishes (and awareness grows), it would be unreasonable to expect many large end user sales. Until then, the signals I look at are (i) registrations, (ii) usage/development (iii) rebrands (swapping from alt TLDs to .now), and (iv) marketing (# of registrars offering the TLD and # of marketplaces selling it). The first 3 signals are strong (in comparison to other gTLDs first 18 mos), and the last one has room for improvement. As they say in the stock market, they don't ring a bell when it's time to buy. If you're the type that waits until publicly reported sales appear on NB to announce "all clear" you will be too late (this does not mean I suggest one invests, just that analysis must be done prior to this stage). I realize you are attempting to do this analysis, just pointing out the signal you're looking at is the last to arrive for new extensions.

@hypernames @TLDInvestors I understand the point of your post. That said, there are businesses building on .now. Here are just a few (of hundreds) rebrand.now/showcase.html Also note, ai .now forwards to the buyers home page (perhaps ultimately they are pivoting or going to rebrand).

@dotcorner Hopefully the sales come. I think it's always worth experimenting... especially if the costs are fairly low. I'm mainly curious why someone is investing in them at 4 or 5 figures a name without any other signs of long-term demand.
