A goal becomes powerful when it starts threatening the habits that keep you small. If nothing in your day has to die, the goal is not real yet. Real ambition changes your food, your room, your sleep, your friends, your calendar, and your excuses. The future always asks for a sacrifice.

Yes Rohan it is the most overlooked metric in trading. I myself suffer a lot from slippage. So this feature is already present in the journal, you can add the trigger price here, the difference between trigger and executed price will be calculated as slippage. You can also add the trades via a tradebook, and then once the trades are imported, just go and edit this field.

Do a scenario analysis, Akshay. Let your trading data tell you what the right approach is. To do this is to create different scenarios. For example, what if your stop loss was 2.5%, 3%, or 4%? Would the improvement in your win rate be significant enough to compensate for the smaller position size or the higher risk? Then do the opposite. What if your stop loss was 1.5% or even 1%? How much does your win rate drop? Does the larger position size on winners, or the reduced risk per trade, more than compensate for that decline? We use many such scenario analyses and exercises in @tradetm_org. The best way to learn and improve your approach is to let your own trading data tell you what to do, rather than relying on either your opinion or mine.

@VasuBhadja @swing_ka_sultan Nice work Vasu. Can I request you to add the impact of slippage on the trades? I know the tradebook won't give this detail, but most traders underestimate the impact of slippage on net profit. Maybe traders can manually add the ideal exit which can be compared to executed price.

@swing_ka_sultan Feeback loop is everything in trading, and a trade journal which truly encapsulates Chirag Sir's principles. All it takes is uploading a tradebook, and analysing the generated data on a weekend. This is the difference between success and failure.

Being yourself is a continuous effort. There is always another expectation placed upon you, another person pulling you toward their preferences, another nudge from society to act a certain way. It's a daily battle to be yourself, not merely what the world wants you to be.

6 Habits That Will Change Your Life: 1. Exercise 2. Cooking 3. Meditation 4. Reading 5. Writing 6. Socializing I know, what a boring fucking list. But that's the thing: most of life is boring. If you want to change it, make boring changes.

New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results.
