My empathy for Kukis has withered. Human beings are not designed to hate each other. Hate is a very strong emotion. I am rarely a hater. But when I am, it is not impulsive. It is not due to personal reasons nor due to events that unfolded on May 3, 2023. Hatred comes in bits & parts, in nuances, in patterns, in observations & in those moments of measured silence. I dont arrive at being a hater easily. I exhaust my empathy first. If someone earns my rejection, it is usually beause they have survived my care, my concern & my benefits of doubts yet failed to be right, for the umpteeth time. I do not hate for the sake of reaction. It's my judgment with a vertibral column.

@Kyangs_Thang @MichaelLoda Who could you be? In one of the comments above, you were an Arunachali (I wrote a comment responding to your main post, now deleted due to Tamil thingy) and someone else elsewhere.

@MichaelLoda Bitter truth is, everyone's racist against everyone here. As a South Indian, growing up in North India, I was pushed around like a dummy, called LTTE guy from south, idli-sambar, blackie etc. Though things are better I hear, long way to go.

Of late, I've been noticing a couple of Manipuri, Naga and some Mizo accounts dehumanizing Arunachalis on social media. Calling them "cowbelt of NE", "begging for mainland attention" just because they speak Hindi & are a little different from these states. Many accounts go further to subtly suggest that Arunachalis should 'revolt' or 'get away from mainlanders'. I, for one, am not someone who believes in performative patriotism. Arunachalis developed such a sense of patriotism and Hindi due to how they developed from the days of NEFA to statehood due to relative peace in the state - not to please someone. I totally condemn, abhor such discrimination & dehumanization of fellow Arunachalis. Arunachal has its own issues of corruption, dilution of culture, language, but I believe they will find their roots back or pave their own path.

Separatist NSCN-IM terrorists are once again attacking innocent Kuki villagers. A villager who was traveling with his family is seen complaining to the security forces present there. The @HMOIndia @mygovindia @PMOIndia must sever the peace negotiation with this separatist group.

MEITEI- Caught in their own narratives WEB! They call themselves blood brothers, indigenous people, and they've even erected monuments to celebrate it. Some folks believe that too. The Meitei community apparently gave up on their "Great Uprising Day" - killed by protesting NSCN-IM, and the day was observed for the loss of 18 innocent lives. 1. Today, Deputy CM Dikho Losii brought the Naga Students' Federation from Nagaland to Manipur and met with the CM. Earlier, during the Lui-Nga-Ni festival, the same Deputy CM Dikho brought the Nagaland CM to Ukhrul, and one NPF MLA declared Ukhrul part of Southern Nagaland. No one from Meitei politicians or CSO platforms, including their various secessionist narco-terrorists and Dikho, responded till today. The question is: did the Meitei community give up and accept Ukhrul District as part of Southern Nagalim? 2. The whole world knows NSCN-IM and their various CSOs (mouthpieces) are the founders of the National Highway Blockade. If they really share the same lineage, the Meitei community should ask NSCN-IM to stop harassing their drivers. 3. A sitting Deputy CM shouldn't abuse his position as Deputy CM to lead a student organization of his community. Tomorrow, what if another Deputy Chief Minister, Smt. Nemcha Kipgen, comes to the CM's office with KSO for Kuki-Zo Land discussion? 4. Their relationship is nothing but targeting the Kuki-Zo Community; when they're afraid, they face them single-handedly. 5. Their relationship reminds me of the China-Russia and Iran social media platform relationship. When Iran faces attacks from the United States and Israel, Russia and China pack their bags and leave for a safer zone like Turkey or Azerbaijan rather than helping Iran. @YKhemchandSingh @KonthoujamG @NBirenSingh @MaharajaManipur @meiteiheritage @Paari_Athouba @koubru_lakpa @laimacha @debanishachom @TheSangaiExpres @PoknaphamNews @Lombanaidabi @LSusindro @LaishramDeepika @ChristopherHij2 @meiteiheritage @koubru_lakpa

@tilhouuu @ManipurFirst I see this as an appeasement policy. Appeasing people for what gain? Appeasing what kind of people? Magnamity is a desirable trait but at the cost of our own self respect? Will take another generation, or perhaps more to learn. Sads.

#Manipur What the notorious @ashang_kasar did on live TV discussion in regs. to the 2 Kuki men blindfolded, tortured & killed by NSCN-IM isn't just about promoting enemity but also a concrete evidence that his brought up was done by the uncivilised parents. He truly deserves FIR.

@umpiwarrior @AngryRumi7 Oh hey, thanks! I forgot that aspect. Meitei Leepun's "counter" blockade was in response to highway blockade imposed by hill people that day. You can't have your way all the time, ain't it?

@iRoopmati @AngryRumi7 Yes I agree that the Meetei ST demand is not the cause of riots in Manipur rather it wad Meetei Leepun counter blockade used as a pretext to start the riots.

.@AngryRumi7 So, you think that Meiteis cant be ST because they live in Imphal? That's an extremely specious logic. The same can be said about the domiciles of cities like Shillong (Khasi), Kohima (Naga), Aizawl (Mizo), Jaipur (Meena) etc who are currently enjoying ST status! These cities are no lesser than Imphal. There are three main communitie in Manipur. 1. Meitei (non-ST) 2. Naga (ST) 3. Kuki (ST) The demand for #MeiteiST didnot bring riot in Manipur. Manipur violence is due to #KukiNarcoTerrorists who are dead against Govt's "War Against Drug" initiative. Had it been ST thing as stated by you, Nagas would have been part of the Manipur Violence, but they aren't. You are not just an angry Rumi but a dumb person as well. You bring bad name to Rumi.
AngryRumi🐤@AngryRumi7

@VikasSaraswat Advocacy of ST status for somebody living in cities like Imphal and Alipur Duar is moronic proposition. This thing started riots in Manipur.

A strategy to destabilize India through #Manipur, involving Myanmarese #Kuki militants . Poppy cultivation funds their agenda, with drug seizures worth millions daily.Locals have been trying to expose this since #Manipur violence 2023. Locals woke up,when will the rest of India?

The muted coverage by a large section of the Indian media on the NIA arrests is a bit baffling. This is arguably the biggest story right now. It’s not often that CIA operatives are arrested so publicly. What gives?

People of Manipur, especially #HinduMeiteis have seen enough of such bytes in the past 3 years, wherein foreign elements were seen training members of #KukiNationalArmyBurma, who also operate in Manipur under different names, including Village Volunteers to #kiII and #maim #HinduMeiteis in #ManipurViolence. Enough blood has already flown in Manipur. It's just that the national media has taken note of it now, something we have apprised the authorities long time back!

A Security Fiasco in India’s Northeast: The arrest of six Ukrainian nationals — all war veterans — and one American citizen with combat experience in the Syria and Libya conflicts by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) for providing military equipment and training to Chin rebels and other militants in Myanmar with ties to Indian insurgent groups casts an unflattering light on the security apparatus in India’s vulnerable northeast. ■ According to court filings, the seven accused mercenaries entered India on tourist visas and traveled undetected to the sensitive border state of Mizoram without obtaining the mandatory Restricted Area Permits (RAP). They then illegally crossed the unfenced international border into Myanmar’s Chin State. ■ The court filings state that, while in Myanmar, they provided training to Chin insurgents and other ethnic rebels with documented links to Indian militant organizations such as ULFA(I), NSCN and the Kuki National Army operating in the northeast. This training included: →Drone operations and assembly →Jamming technology and weapons handling →Supplying a “huge consignment” of drones sourced from Europe ■ The seven men subsequently re-entered India through the Mizoram-Myanmar border — again without detection by border or local police forces — before traveling deep into the Indian mainland. ■ They were eventually tracked by federal agencies and arrested on March 13 at transit hubs far from the Myanmar border while in the process of leaving India: →The American was detained at Kolkata airport →Three Ukrainians were arrested at Delhi airport →Three Ukrainians were arrested at Lucknow airport The NIA has charged them under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), including Section 18 (terrorist conspiracy). The introduction of European-sourced drone technology and jamming expertise into this theater represents a significant “force multiplier” for insurgent groups. The investigation further indicates that the seven men were part of a broader conspiracy to transport sophisticated drones and other Western weapons into Myanmar via India, effectively establishing a “tactical corridor” through India’s northeastern borders. The scale of the security lapse is difficult to overstate. That these individuals were able to enter India, reach its northeast with military equipment, cross into Myanmar, and then return through the same route without detection points to a serious intelligence and border management failure. Their successful movement of a large consignment of drones and related supplies through Mizoram suggests that external provisioning of arms to Indian insurgent groups may be occurring more frequently — and more invisibly — than officially acknowledged. Taken together, these developments suggest that India’s northeast risks becoming a permissive operating environment for foreign actors fueling the Myanmar conflict, with spillover effects increasingly visible in Indian border states such as Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland.
