Transgender attorney begs for a female police officer after getting tackled to the ground before being jailed for contempt. Oklahoma attorney Rob Hopkins was caught on camera arguing with the judge. “I’m a transgender attorney practicing all over the state!” The argument continued to escalate before the judge called in officers who then took Hopkins to the ground. Hopkins was heard screaming “I can’t breathe” and begging for a female officer. Hopkins was reportedly held on a $25,000 bond.

Being trans isn’t a free pass, but it’s a reality needing proper handling esp. when requesting female officer for safety & dignity. Contempt of court shouldn’t mean excessive force. I worked for USAID when It was closed, these guys literally were firing senior Foreign Service Officers with 30 years of experience on the spot.
