@bcherny How about using the Claude Agents SDK on our Max plans? We were told this was fine previously as long as it was for personal use. I think there needs to be more clarity about what is ok and not ok.

We want to be intentional in managing our growth to continue to serve our customers sustainably long-term. This change is a step toward that.

@boagworld It's created a place where I really don't enjoy being much anymore. The people I care about or enjoyed sharing on social have left mostly, and am left with a fragmented, divided and pretty negative place. I've been so much happier without it. But I feel I miss the connection.

@boagworld I think this was happening well before the AI surge. Arguably the issue is still AI & it contributes to us posting less. But the big issue before that was the introduction of algorithmic feeds which created echo chambers, division, and sensationalist content.

I worry a lot that AI is undermining the culture of sharing we used to have. We used to help each other learn and grow. Communities like Stack Overflow were the destination of choice when we struggled. But now we turn to AI instead. The problem is that AI makes consuming incredibly efficient. You can learn more, save more, collect more prompts than ever before. And because it feels productive, you do not notice that you have stopped contributing anything back. Months go by. You have read a thousand threads. You have not posted once. The thing about being a spectator is that nobody knows you exist. You can be brilliant at your job, but if you never show up in conversations, you are invisible to everyone outside your immediate team. If you have fallen into that trap, a simple goal for 2026: be slightly more of a participant. Comment on one post a day. Share one small lesson from the week. Help someone avoid a mistake you already paid for. This week's newsletter is about low-pressure ways to contribute, especially if the idea of self-promotion makes you want to hide under the desk. @airtransat my 1st experience with you yesterday. The stewards on the flight were really great- kind and friendly. Unfortunately the seats were shockingly uncomfortable on our transatlantic flight from Manchester to Toronto, my food was awful and check-in stressful.

@ThreeUKSupport Well we are on the plane right now and about to take off so we can't do that. I assume she can upgrade on the app in Canada over wi-fi? She's really not technical and in her 80s so I want to try and sort this out for her. If you can offer any assistance that would be brilliant.

@ThreeUKSupport my mother-in-law is with Three and is traveling to Canada. She's had her contract for years and likely before October 2021. How does roaming work for her in Canada? How much will she be charged and can she buy a pass? We are at the airport now.

@ThreeUKSupport We have access to her account through the Three app on her phone. But not sure how to see where the Account details are. Would we have to upgrade her account when we arrive on Canada. It's very confusing.

@iagdotme Hi, Ian. If the contract is older that October 2021, it won't have Go Roam in Canada. Using the service there with an older plan would be expensive and isn't recommended. It's best to find out which plan is active first, you can do that on chat here: bit.ly/2PmAIzQ -Pete

So proud of my daughter. Last weekend she sang at the Royal Albert Hall in London at her first BBC Proms with the Hallé Youth Choir in this beautiful piece by James MacMillan, and the TV cameras got a really great shot live on TV!
