The followers of Peter are now calling Professor Usman Yusuf an illiterate. A consultant paediatrician in Nigeria, UK, and the United States. A full professor of stem cell research. Just imagine the audacity of these people who want to win a federal election for the first time. They must be dreaming.

Imagine, he is even saying all the presidential aspirants should come to his platform to be interviewed and scrutinized by him. Who the F is he? Temu journalist He doesn’t even know the basic tenets of journalism, he has never crossed the four walls of journalism school or read courses relevant to journalism. He has exaggerated opinion about himself. He thinks blackmail, hate and vitriol is effective journalism.

For me the worst thing Peter Obi did is spliting the opposition votes, thereby giving a great advantage to Tinubu APC If he can't be VP, why not stay neutral and allow opposition to remain united and fight the ruling party?

Ndigbo wants a man of valour to lead them, not a man of victim mentality. Whoever goes out of the Coalition to contest election is working for Tinubu. Watch the full interview on the state of the Coalition on Symfoni TV with Kenneth Okonkwo held on 6 May 2026. youtu.be/NDjgfpd8knU?si…

The Ijaws are mounting a lot of pressure on Seriake Dickson to hand over its ticket of the NDC to Goodluck Jonathan even as Kwankwaso has insisted that he won’t be Vice to Peter Obi.

1. Goodluck Jonathan is more competent than Peter Obi. 2. Goodluck Jonathan enjoys global recognition and respect. 3. Goodluck Jonathan is also a Southerner. 4. Goodluck Jonathan is also a Christian. 5. Peter Obi should step aside to support Goodluck Jonathan. 6. No rational person would choose Peter Obi over Goodluck Jonathan. 7. Atiku will still emerge victorious in 2027.

It is not the turn of the south, it is only a motto for crooks to perpetrate themselves in power. OBJ - 8yrs GEJ - 6yrs BAT - 4yrs Total South 18yrs. Y'aradu - 2yrs Buhari - 8yrs Total North - 10yrs In actual fact, it is the turn of the northeast.

Nigeria’s non-oil revenue under: OBJ: ~₦600bn Yar’Adua: under ₦400bn GEJ: ~₦2.5tn Buhari: ~₦10tn Tinubu: ₦15tn+ BAT has generated more non-oil revenue in 3 years than previous administrations combined in 24 years, reducing Nigeria’s dependence on oil. That's massive!

@ruffydfire @IDidemudia PO is just too desperate...Atiku who singlehandedly chooses him as his VP wasn't foolish...Same Atiku begged him in 2023 and he turned it down...2027 same PO his fooling himself around with KWANKWASO that rejected him in 2023 general elections. He will learn in a HARD_WAY..✍🏿

@JaafarSJaafar This analysis is incorrect. Atiku has legacy structures in the south and his VP candidate will help. In fact, Atiku has more supporters in the south that what Obi can ever get in the north. The 2023 election data proves this. Those factors are completely ignored in your analysis.

Peter Obi’s exit is a major blow to Atiku’s 2027 presidential ambition. From a realist standpoint, securing 25 percent across southern states will become far more difficult to Atiku without Obi on his ticket. While Atiku will struggle in vain to make electoral inroads in the South, Obi will make incursion into Atiku’s northern turf, winning Plateau, Nasarawa, the FCT, and possibly Benue and Taraba. Obi will also make a good showing in other Northern states with significant Christian communities such as Southern Kaduna, Southern Borno, Southern Gombe and Southern Adamawa. Don’t downplay it. Obi’s absence has reshaped the electoral map, and Atiku is feeling the weight of it.

All Adaobi needed to do was refuse to sign for consensus in ADC, automatically forcing a direct primary. The National Organizing secretary of ADC was nominated by him, his office will conduct the primaries. Contest this ticket rigorously, and win some of us over. But no, Peter Obi must reveal his “Adaobi” side.

Peter's move to the NDC is a blessing to Atiku Abubakar. The north won't accept him and Rabi'u cannot help much. Tinubu is losing sleep. His "turn of the south" agenda has backfired with Peter in the equation. We must work to lock down the NW, NE and some parts of NC. Without these regions, Tinubu and Peter will compete for a second position. Poor analysts will argue differently but election data from 1979 to 2023 will disprove them. Anytime a northern candidate leads with the support of at least one region in the south, they win!

2027: OPEN LETTER TO 50 MILLION NDIGBO WORLDWIDE Calvary greetings, Umunnem Ndigbo. In his masterpiece book entitled, "Politics: Who Gets What, When, How," American political scientist defined politics as simply "who gets what, when, how?" Against this backdrop, I hope you all know that our beloved brother H.E. Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha is being considered in some quarters as the possible replacement of Mr. Peter Obi as the new leader of the Igbo nation within the main opposition ADC Coalition. Thus, Ndigbo Worldwide are religiously pushing for Ihedioha to be the vice presidential nominee of H.E. @atiku in 2027. Are we going to stand akimbo and allow the traitor Peter Obi to collapse the political future of Ndigbo in Nigeria? Are we going to allow Obi the tortoise (mbe) to further push Ndigbo into political wilderness in Nigeria, since 1983? Knowing fully well that Obi can not emerge Nigeria's president with only votes from the South East? Knowing fully well that Obi was even more popular than Kwankwaso and scored more votes than him in the entire North in 2023? So, how then does Obi think he has a pathway to the presidency in 2027? Can Obi beat Nyesom Wike, Godswill Akpabio, James Ibori (Odidigborigbo of Africa), Ifeanyi Okowa, Ovie Omo-Agege, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Douye Diri, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Siminalayi Fubara, Bassey Otu, Monday Okpebholo, etc, who are in Tinubu's pockets in the South South? Can Obi beat Tinubu's rigging machinery in the South West? What will Obi do when MC Oluomo, Sunday Igboho, and other Tinubu's thugs in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti prevent his supporters from voting in polling units across the South West, Tinubu's stronghold, as they are planning in 2027? Will Obi just come cry on national television or complain on Twitter (X) and Facebook? Can Obi gain incursion into the Core Arewa North with Atiku Abubakar now the rallying point of Northernerns in 2027, giving that the former leader of Northern politics, Muhammadu Buhari has joined his ancestors? Millions of Ndigbo at home and in the Diaspora must be wiser by now ahead of 2027. Please let us critically analyse the political trajectory of Ndigbo in Nigeria. Let us deeply discuss the political future of Ndigbo in Nigeria in our small and large circles as soon as possible. A stitch in time saves nine. Regards.
