99% of day traders lose money. I’m not even sure why @DONJAZZY has this sudden interest in day trading. If you’re genuinely interested in the markets, swing trading makes a lot more sense. Less noisy and lesser stress. Build a thesis, take the trade, and give it time to play out instead of staring at charts every 5 minutes.

If no one told you anything relevant this week, these three weekend tips should help you for the next 6 months or more even: 1. Sell value, not your time, by being useful to others. This is hard, because it means you have to do what others want, and not necessarily what you want. Obviously, if you can align the two, even better. 2. You get wealthy/famous by having many mostly superficial connections, but you get happy by having very few, deep, meaningful relationships. Absolute key concept to success and happiness in life, which would help you not only get wealthy, but also super happy - two things that don't always go together. 3. Self Discipline sets you free. This one is tough for most (mostly unhappy and/or unsuccessful) people to swallow. Live by it. Achieve it by having an absolute crucial skill in life: Emotional control. What you enjoy short term, may actually not be good for you long term and vice versa. Have a great weekend.
