@Play2XKO really love akali & the bot beatdown mode. if the game would have some sort of a campaign mode that would make it even better. also, i feel like being able to pause the game mid-fight in single player would be a nice QoL feature. hyped up for what's to come!

quick look at 2XKO in 2026. stuff to know: we're adding another champion to our schedule, for a total of 6 new champs releasing this year. we're also adding a new fuse + a way to find duo partners in-game next month. lots to come, thanks for being on the journey with us

We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways. Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head: -Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione -Ginny was not Ginny -Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film -Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book -Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain) -Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup -Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts -Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that) -Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead -Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

@Jonathan_Blow i know they won't fit as a direct reference but i like Persona 5's UI - it's more detailed than pure flat icon design but has that zine whimsy. another type of controls i like is when the buttons have some minor volume effect like in Guilty Gear Strive hope it inspires.

It’s time to design the real control prompt icons for Order of the Sinking Star. Many games have gravitated to this minimal monochrome style (like the Visual Studio icons etc) and I don’t much like this. Does anyone have favorite examples of games with good-looking prompts?

@ItIsHoeMath you must find at least something that would put your mind off the thing for at least an hour a week, whether it's walking, bread making, music or whatever. the more detached the better. consider this a part of your work, if it makes it easier.

Every day that goes by, it gets harder to focus on anything other than "solving the problem." I just worked on my house and took a bath today. I didn't even try to work. I haven't published a real video in almost 2 months. I have literally over 300 great ideas for videos and I just cannot think lately because videos won't matter soon.
