The Axios and LiteLLM supply chain attacks should scare every developer using @github CLI. Your GitHub OAuth token (with full access to every private repo) is one command away from exfiltration: security find-generic-password -s "gh:github.com" -w Completely silent. No keychain password needed. There's currently no way to bind the gh auth tokens to a hardware key. This has been an open issue since 2020. Please repost to raise awareness! github.com/cli/cli/issues…

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

This thinking indicator is just two lines of math: x = 7cos(t) − d·cos(7t), y = 7sin(t) − d·sin(7t) No keyframes. No Lottie. Coming soon on @referodesign

If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately* Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code. GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH github.com/settings/copil…

Do people like this? We don't do this for codex because it exists to help you and it's important that you remain the owner and accountable for your work without AI taking credit. At the same time it does mean that you can't trace how popular codex is among repos.
Yuchen Jin@Yuchenj_UW

I noticed something interesting: Claude Code auto-adds itself as a co-author on every git commit. Codex doesn’t. That’s why you see Claude everywhere on GitHub, but not Codex. I wonder why OpenAI is not doing that. Feels like an obvious branding strategy OpenAI is skipping.

@SenSanders The issues being described are not about AI, they’re about data brokers. Data brokers that take our information without our consent are the ones that should be regulated.

I spoke to Anthropic’s AI agent Claude about AI collecting massive amounts of personal data and how that information is being used to violate our privacy rights. What an AI agent says about the dangers of AI is shocking and should wake us up.

Chris Davis@ObviousUnrest

I got a demo of @OpacityHQ today that absolutely blew me away. It’s the tool we’ve been waiting for. It sits in this fuzzy middle ground between a design tool, a coding tool, and a git workflow. Absolutely brilliant. Cannot WAIT to use this. Thanks for the demo, @drewwilson!
