All media get out of Bondi and leave people to grieve in peace.

@spursofficial slip slidin’ away, slip slidin away. You know the nearer your destination the more you’re slip slidin’ away.

Change is already a month overdue. Waiting any longer borders on bad governance. #coys

lf she slapped my baby she would be going down hard
Kitten@0nlyk1tt3n
A nanny was caught on camera and arrested in Guaíba (RS) for assaulting a six-month-old baby under her care. The baby’s mother noticed marks on her daughter’s face and, after checking the security footage, discovered the moment the nanny slapped the baby. The suspect was detained by the Civil Police and charged with child abuse. The case remains under investigation.

November 2014 @LFC last lost four consecutive games and it’s August/September 1953, over 73 years, since they lost five in a row.

Admit it @SawyerMerritt you could become a member of the mile high club way before @Starlink but you just didn’t did you? Fly @united

Review of @Starlink on United Airlines: "It is an absolute game changer. I had download speeds in excess of 250 Mbps, and upload speeds of nearly 30 Mbps. With Starlink, I can do anything in the air that I could do on the ground."

@dave41619095 @HaveeSnowball Probably not living but in the queue early to buy tickets for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics so they don’t miss out.

@HaveeSnowball Well, we know the same thing is happening in Brisbane.. the descendants of the First Settler Australians are now living in tents besides the river. (literally)
How about sydney? That city seems to always escape the critique. 🤔

With my greatest apprehension, I decided to go to Melbourne CBD to buy a 20th year wedding anniversary present.
It's platinum, of course - although I doubt many people are married 20 years now, or they care about our traditions.
I was greeted to Melbourne by an ugly Indian tourist trying to take my photo. I politely asked them to decline :-) Yes, I know, it is okay to take photos of people publicly, but expect a punch in the face if you don't stop when asked.
So I was shocked how poor Melbourne is looking. It is looking very dodgy indeed. Bourke street was looking a treat (photos below).
I went to David Jones, supposedly upmarket shopping (or at least it used to be), to find a homeware gift that was either platinum or platinum plated.
The shop attendants looked at me like I had told them an asteroid was about to hit Melbourne. They chuckled, or actually kind of laughed at me, and said 'there is nothing in all of David Jones made of platinum'. Okay, fair enough. I left.
I went to the block arcade. Again, the shop attendants said 'computer says no.' Instead they said, 'oh you are looking for overseas products, they aren't manufactured here'. When I showed them a website that the products were indeed manufactured in Maidstone, down the road, they looked shocked. That's okay. I told them no one in Melbourne really knows anything any more. A little frustrated by the gaslighting, I left.
I went to Tiffanys. I was greeted by a fat Chinese woman. I could barely make out what she was saying. She asked if I was looking for jewelry or something else. I asked if there is anything else. Again, she laughed and said 'we don't have anything but jewellery'. I asked her why she asked then - it was a strange question.
She then showed me some earrings and necklace. The necklace was $6,000 and the earrings $22,000. It was presented on a dirty black mat, she looked sloppy, and she was trying every hackneyed cliche 'oh, it's from our special collection, it's really popular, but there are almost none less'. It was kind of insulting on every level. If I'm going to spend $30k on jewellery, I don't want to buy it from McJewellry.
Today represented all the things that make me weary - I was thinking I might rather be occupied by a foreign army, at least we could put up a fight, rather than the shocking third world mediocrity it has drifted in to.

@dieworkwear I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better styled jacket, it’s superb. Whoever had it made should love it.

Aid is being sold at markets in Gaza. Potatoes $25 per kilo, Formula $70 a tin. Clearly there are some Palestinians that are not starving and do not care about their fellow humans.
