@RivianTrackr My phone is the center of my technology world and therefore my car should be an extension of that, not a separate ecosystem in and of itself. My iPhone has offline maps, offline music, offline podcasts, message history, calendar, and apps that'll never come to Rivian's dashboard.

Rivian says no to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but should they? In 2025, wireless phone projection feels less like a luxury and more like a basic expectation. I make the case for adding it anyway, even if Rivian doesn’t want to. riviantrackr.com/news/the-case-…

@mattzeller Had an inkling that Thunderbolts was going to buck the trend. Glad to hear it! Excited to see it.

I got to see #Thunderbolts early and, wow, I think it’s the best Marvel Studios project since Guardians 3. No coincidence that it probably has the most authentic heart and soul since that movie too. Really special stuff, and Florence Pugh shines. Go see it!

I was looking for an external monitor with this criteria: – 4K or above – OLED – Wide gamut color space – Thunderbolt I/O – 120fps and a MacBook that supports such video output spec This combo doesn’t exist yet, unfortunately

@scizofrenic Space mostly. Need a bigger desk to support work and play setups simultaneously. The portability is also useful when I want to do PCVR in my workout area where I have more room.

@ianmturk I saw their desktops pop up in some of the recs. What led you to go for a gaming laptop instead? At this point, I'm not even sure if I NEED 4K playability vs 1080p. I mean, I'm doing just fine with the Switch at 720p in hand held mode 😆 even though I have a PS5.

Researching gaming PCs is giving me a headache. Why are there sooooooo many variables to consider?! It feels like a worse experience than buying a car 🫠

On top of a couple of faults with Driver+ that forced me to take over, my Rivian refused to shift out of park earlier this evening. Even after soft resetting. Had to go to an appointment but everything worked afterwards. Losing trust.
