@kayteterry isn't the point of that phrase to encourage destroying capitalism and making a new system to replace? i feel like people have misinterpreted it to either guilt trip people for existing in a capitalist system or justify mindless consumption because "all consumption is bad"

I think it’s really bad that people took “there is no ethical consumption under capitalism” to its nihilistic extreme.

@GovernorGa_ i agree, i don't think it justified pearl harbor, but i think it's rare to be taught the historical context for things like this and 9/11. we're just taught to be horrified that a foreign group *dared* to touch the innocent, good USA completely unprovoked, regardless of context

@LionzbladeYT yeah i have a lot of respect for him, even though his performance hasn't been great. shit timing on the yoru nerf, and i think if he wasn't on a team with a bunch of other duelists and fraggers, he could thrive on phoenix given enough time

I know his performance has been questionable (shit) after the yoru nerfs, but it is still insanely impressive that he was able to make it to VCT as a one trick. If Yoru never got nerfed who knows how he would have turned out.

@ms_audy you're just trying to do the "tolerance of intolerance" paradox. yes, i think it's morally good to be intolerant and oppressive of morally bad ideologies, and no, it's not inconsistent for me to believe good things are good and bad things are bad.

if trans women are women and want to join women’s spaces because some biological women agree to it, but the other biological women that disagree essentially have to agree bc “oppression” is bad. isn’t that just oppression?

@sadtommy123 that's a whole new fucking sentence dude i didn't say anything about "national segregation", it's interpersonal segregation. inclusion should be the default, and you have to justify each exclusion. men can easily be justified as an exclusion, but other genders cannot
