While everyone was FUDing Kaspa KII… the team quietly stacked real progress On Testnet-12, WarpCore just processed millions of ISO 20022 transactions with full covenant integration. This isn’t dry testing — it’s real banking payment simulation settling on Kaspa’s blockDAG in seconds with true finality. And coming up on May 5th hard fork — the covenant-centric upgrade with native assets that will open the floodgates for institutional adoption. #Kaspa #WarpCore #KII $KAS #MayHardFork

Warpcore from @KaspaKii is so much bigger than most people think for $KAS, in fact it's a game changer! This video is a great update from Rory courtesy of @Cryptopumpzzzz and compares it to $XRP and others! Worth a watch. youtu.be/OYtwBjsi9Wo?si…

🚨JUST IN: Kaspa’s Smart Contract: Michael Sutton the GOAT, just shared an update that helps demystify where Kaspa is heading with smart contracts, and it’s more concrete than a lot of people think. Kaspa’s new vProgs work is moving forward on two tracks at the same time: 1️⃣ High speed computation off chain One team (led by @hus_qy the King) is building a runtime that lets lots of transactions and programs run in parallel using virtual machines. This is about scale, doing serious computation without slowing Kaspa down. 2️⃣ Secure settlement on Kaspa L1 Another group (the covenants++ taskforce) is focused on ZK-based opcodes and covenant logic. This is what allows results from those computations to settle securely on Kaspa’s base layer, and enables things like bridges and advanced wallets. 🧠 The strategy is intentional: Instead of trying to ship full DeFi composability all at once, Kaspa is starting with a minimal, production ready tunnel, a clean connection between computation and L1 settlement. Think strong foundations first, fancy Lego structures later. 📄 This approach is being formalized in the vProgs yellowpaper, with an initial draft expected around September 2025. ⏱️ What about timelines? Despite concerns in the community around hash rate drops and adoption pace, Sutton says development is moving along multiple paths, not stalled. A fully featured covenants++ testnet is expected in ~40–50 days. 🔐 Why this matters: This roadmap unlocks real smart contract functionality on Kaspa, including things like KIP-17 secure wallets, without compromising Kaspa’s speed or security model.
Michael Sutton@michaelsuttonil

A few words on the kaspanet/vprogs code repository. Consider this as two efforts digging a mountain from both directions and seeking to meet. Hans @hus_qy (and others will join) is building a based computation runtime, i.e., a runtime that is fed by a sequencer with transactions and executes them over a vm (or several vms) with maximum concurrency. The covenants++ taskforce is digging from the L1 side, building the covenant infrastructure and zk opcodes that will allow this runtime to settle and bridge from/to L1. We aim to reach each other first through a narrow tunnel, and only then widen the pathway together. That’s the covenants++ goal: create based zk covenants on one side and a minimal standalone app-level runtime on the other, then have them connect and link with production-ready quality. Then we widen the tunnel together, integrating increased composability while still targeting maximum sovereignty (with the vprogs yellowpaper guiding the way). This pathway can also be gradual (see the gist I shared a few weeks ago). The point is building the basic elements in production-ready quality, having them support massive based computational apps, and then continuing the journey

Kaspa walking in Bitcoin’s footsteps👀 Kaspa’s chart looks almost identical to Bitcoin’s chart before it went on its BIGGEST run. $BTC gained 803% following this pattern. If history were to repeat itself, a similar run would send $KAS to $0.36. Needless to say, I expect this run to be potentially even more explosive, considering Kaspa’s fundamental superiority and how much the overall space has grown over the past few years. Again, I don’t have a crystal ball; I’m just sharing my opinion. cc - @Kaspa_HypeMan @OfficialTravlad @KaspaGuru @GoonBoyCrypto @Crypt0Proselyte

GeoSeal Proof of Place. Proof of Existence. Built on Kaspa. Enterprises don’t need more location data. They need verifiable truth about the physical world. GeoSeal provides cryptographic Proof of Place and Proof of Existence for people, assets, and key events, anchored immutably on Kaspa. It proves in a way that cannot be rewritten later that: • a person was present • an asset existed • an event occurred at a specific place, within defined bounds, at a specific time. GeoSeal is not tracking. It produces intentional, event-based attestations only when invoked. This distinction is critical for enterprise and regulatory use. Why this matters • CBAM requires proof of where production actually occurred • Logistics requires provable chain-of-custody events • RWA requires proof that assets exist in the real world • Energy & infrastructure require verifiable on-site events Without proof of existence at location, digital records cannot be trusted. Proof of Existence is the missing layer GeoSeal does not just prove presence. It proves existence at location. That nuance is critical. For example: • proving a facility exists where claimed (CBAM) • proving a container existed at a port (logistics) • proving infrastructure assets exist for RWA issuance • proving yield-producing assets are physically present and operational Without proof of existence, digital representations of physical assets fail under scrutiny. Enterprise use cases: CBAM & Trade Compliance Proof that production capacity and processing occurred at regulated locations, within compliant time windows - without exposing sensitive site data. Logistics & Shipping Proof that containers, cargo, and custody events occurred at specific ports, depots, and handover points - verifiable years later. Real-World Assets (RWA) Proof that assets exist at minting, inspection, transfer, and yield reporting - providing physical grounding for digital instruments. Energy & Infrastructure Proof that inspections, maintenance, and operational events occurred on-site - replacing attestations with evidence. GeoSeal in the Kii stack: GeoSeal is a foundational component of Kii's enterprise architecture. It underpins: • real-world asset recording • regulatory compliance workflows • logistics and chain-of-custody • infrastructure verification • yield-producing physical assets Without verifiable Proof of Place and Proof of Existence, none of this scales safely. GeoSeal provides cryptographic Proof of Place and Proof of Existence for people, assets, and key events - designed for enterprise, built for regulation, and anchored on Kaspa. No central authority. No mutable logs. No trust assumptions. GeoSeal is Proof of Place and Proof of Existence - enterprise-grade, regulation-ready, and built on Kaspa. #Kaspa

Simple Mining
Simple Mining@simpleminingio·
The IRS is giving you a 100% write-off for buying Bitcoin miners? Under current tax law, Bitcoin mining hardware qualifies for 100% bonus depreciation. That means if you are a business owner or investor, you can write off the entire cost of your miners this year. Keep in mind, it is for the year they are placed in service. So if you are planning to capture a deduction on your April 2027 tax bill, your miners need to be hashing prior to December 31, 2026. If you have capital gains, passive income, or just a big tax bill, this is one of the most sophisticated ways to achieve a write-off and achieve Bitcoin exposure. If you are serious about building wealth and reducing your tax burden, this is the move.

2026 is already looking great! Warpcore Sandbox coming to financial institutions. WarpCore: The Middleware for a Truly Global, Institutional-Grade Financial System ISO 20022 is a global standard for rich, structured payment data that helps institutions automate compliance, reduce reconciliation costs, and improve cross-border efficiency, and with Warpcore’s #Kaspa-powered sandbox, institutions can explore these benefits on an open, high-throughput, neutral settlement network that avoids vendor lock-in and proprietary control found in legacy closed systems. Well done, @KaspaKii

Launching Today: WarpCore: ISO 20022 In. Kaspa Finality Out. Today we’re launching WarpCore (Phase 1) in a sandbox environment for financial institutions. WarpCore acts as a universal adapter: ISO 20022 ⇄ deterministic Kaspa logic. Banks keep their existing messaging, controls, and compliance pipelines - while settling verifiable, immutable financial events on Kaspa at incredible speed, without compromising decentralisation. Secured by Proof of Work. This is not a new rail. It’s a translation layer. Legacy systems in. Cryptographic finality out. More to come... #kaspa $kas #xrp #ada #xlm #iso20022
