The early Christians, because of their belief in the Eucharist, were repeatedly accused of cannibalism (e.g., Justin Martyr, 150 AD). So if you’re NOT being accused of “cannibalism” today, you do NOT believe what the Early Church believed.

@CatholicCoachP @JasonWatchman @JesuitJunkrat Correct. Jesus clearly says “My flesh is true food” which cannot be contradicted later. “The flesh profits nothing” must refer to something else. Further, Jesus says “My blood is true drink” but He does Not say “The blood profits nothing.”

Nowhere does the Bible make this “alone” claim. So if you REALLY are a true Christian, you’ll follow God’s word HIS way—as it comes from both His Bible AND His Church.
