One can’t be over adventurous to take Evs to such remote locations where they fuel ain’t available A reminder ,an average Joe doesn’t travel daily to Leh Ladakh it’s not a daily commute for everyone. Why cribbin on Evs all the time !! Doesn’t help the cause !!

People and the government seem to have forgotten about EVs, so let me remind you. Gadkari ji pushed India towards EVs, but last week in Leh, Ladakh, my experience was shocking. My car charged just 1% in 1 hour, and even after reaching 42%, the charger estimated 3 more days to reach a full charge! Is this the EV infrastructure we’ve built in India? And now we’re already talking about E20 and even E85, when the basics still aren’t working? @nitin_gadkari

@ShivrattanDhil1 Oh ok, post said Leh. Nubra is difficult in an EV, unplanned. Although if you charge up at Leh, Nubra and beyond is easy. There’s a video of a BE6 doing rounds which was en route Hanle.

Gurugram to Jodhpur drive today in @mahindraesuvs #xev9e Pack 3. Total time taken for 673 kms - 12 hours (10 hours driving time + 1 hour of breakfast and lunch break each alongside charging while having lunch). Did 673 kms in 122%->5.5 km in 1% battery->550 kms real world range.

Someone asked me about VisionX in my #xev9e Here is a video shot which shows multiple aspects 1. VisionX shows yellow lines on either side to denote any traffic crossing from either side hence you don't have to constantly look at the side view mirrors and only look when you are either changing lanes or if the yellow bars popup on either of the side. 2. When coupled with ADAS, the system draws a floating AR white line below traffic ahead. This line is rendered real time and snaps to the track of the vehicle ahead. 3. Smart pilot can change lanes and overtake slow traffic on its own. In this example, ACC was set to 90km/hr and my XEV was tailing a cab at 79km/hr. The system waited for the rear traffic to clear and then prompted me that left and right lanes are free. Once I turned on the left indicator, XEV switched the lanes automatically.
