Reason why reservation exists !!!!

I am ready to quit X/Twitter if any anti-reservation proponent can identify a single Indian private company that, over the last several decades, has produced an original engineering or technological breakthrough that fundamentally reshaped a global industry on the scale of the transistor, the microprocessor, the World Wide Web, GPS, the smartphone, cloud computing, CRISPR, or generative AI. There is virtually no reservation in India’s private sector. Yet it dominates Indian business and has been among the biggest beneficiaries of government subsidies, protectionist policies, tax incentives, and large loan write-offs. So where are the world-changing breakthroughs? Don’t cite IT services, outsourcing, cost-cutting, process improvements, or successful business models. Don’t cite incremental innovation. Name one first-of-its-kind, globally transformative engineering or technological invention that became the foundation or key driver of an industry. If you can, I’ll quit X. If you can’t, stop blaming reservation for every failure of Indian innovation.

@idol1ette @RoshanKrRaii But there are no definite proofs of determining a caste of person when caste certificates and hence reservations are abolished. So when caste is not revealed, how caste discrimination can occur

This is hilariously tragic. 😭 So someone made a page named Reservation Hatao Movement It gained Millions of followers in just a few hours. Then it posted that Caste system should be abolished. All casteists started unfollowing the page. 😭 Movement ended even before start 🤣🤣🤣

Caste existed for centuries without paperwork, reservation didn't invent caste identity; it just exposed it. Pretending caste vanishes without certificates is pure delusion.

@ArjSwami1 @RoshanKrRaii If money fixed caste bias, wealthy SCs wouldn't face housing discrimination in Tier-1 cities or exclusion from elite social networks. Purchasing power isn't institutional power. You just want to keep power monopolized while pretending market forces solve deep social bias.

But in today's world it is completely illogical. Money is everything today. Society today respects a wealthy SC guy more than a poor GC.

Reservation in Private sector People like @gautam_adani should take the lead in introducing reservation in the private sector, starting with the Adani Group. Since Mukesh Ambani is not on X, I could not appeal to him directly. @TataCompanies should also follow the same policy. Reservation promotes diversity, and diversity strengthens merit by bringing talent and perspectives from across society.
