As part of our “Every Day in School Matters” campaign, the players were able to spend time in a few classrooms where they were able to 📚 read holiday books, 🗣️ talk about the importance of showing up every day and giving great effort in the classroom, and 🎁 hand out some gifts.

I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to volunteer at the @CareSource food distribution event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Speaking on behalf of my teammates, we are grateful for these moments to partner with leaders like CareSource to support our fellow community member

From the day we launched Dayton6th.com we talked about supporting our student-athletes ’The Dayton Way’ — this meant creating lasting opportunities for our @DaytonFlyers athletes to have a meaningful impact in the community and partnering with organizations like @CareSource who share that vision. Returning @DaytonMBB players @JuiceCrewMali, @JavonBennett9, @enochcheeks, @n_santos33, and @iisaacjack have partnered with CareSource in past years on various events and were thrilled to participate at today’s food distribution event at the @MCOhio Fairgrounds. For newcomers @PoshAlexander, @jacobconner24, and @iamzedkey, joining their teammates at today’s event is their first time seeing the important role CareSource plays in the Dayton region.
