In my view, the connectivity across the Himalayas must reflect regional priorities, i.e. sustainable development, economic integration, and mutual security rather than becoming a stage for external power projection or competing geopolitical theatrics.
A balanced and pragmatic trilateral approach can ensure that Trans-Himalayan connectivity evolves into a bridge of cooperation, not a corridor of contestation.

This is the natural consequence of India’s regional policy to tacitly support US geostrategy in its own neighborhood under the ruse of confronting China. India’s neighbors who previously were orienting towards a non-aligned policy of developing positive ties with India and China are now encouraged by the US to adopt nationalist postures that bring these smaller states into challenging Indian and Chinese interests. The ball is in India’s court and China’s too to limit their rivalry that is being exploited by the US to undermine broader geopolitical stability and interdependence in the subcontinent.

If India does not come to the diplomatic table, this issue is likely to backfire on India in the coming days. If such dominance from India continues, Nepal will become stronger in the future, and ultimately it is India that will face the loss.

If power decides ownership, then China’s claim over Arunachal Pradesh would also be valid.
Strength doesn’t give any country the right to take another’s land. Lipulekh–Kalapani is Nepal’s land as per the Sugauli Treaty, with the Kali River as the boundary.

China never mentioned disputed lipulekh in its pilgrimage remarks. Only India did.
Likewise China has avoided mentioning Lipulekh as a border post. Instead it uses Pulan (China) and Gunji (India).
It's possible China only permit the Nathu La route and not the Nepal one.

As per Nepali media reports, This clever by half PM has refused to US Ambassador Sargio Gor. And asserted that he’d meet only head of the states. (though I believe that it’s typical master slave gimmick to make him look strong)
I guess, someone forgot to tell him that he’s a PM of landlocked country with limited resources and Ambassadors are representatives of that country.
If he didn’t behave then he’ll very soon discover FAFO, this hired overconfidence or should I say misbehaviour will cost him and Nepal very much.

2 ministers are gone in 3 weeks. Protests against his poor-sighted decisions have already started. And to avoid accountability, he's choosing an anti-India stance, from import duty to vehicle charges- this time the public is angry, and they're in no mood to buy the nonsense, as they're losing earlier, cheaper goods from India or vice versa that are costing them nearly twice as much, and most of them have relatives across, so it's becoming difficult to travel across. How long will he survive?
