@sportingintel @DaveMacca83 The kid with an iPhone doesn’t change the fact we have cheated. Deliberately. Only possibly in the mitigation that is wasn’t far off amateur hour & the perception. EFL will be praying Hull beat us.

@DaveMacca83 Corden is a football illiterate buffoon. I'd say, based on precedent, that a big fine and perhaps a points deduction of Saints are in the EFL next season (3-6 points) would be about right. Getting kicked out the play-off final IMO would be extreme.

I'm a Saints fan, and remain embarrassed & mortified that a Saints intern spied on Boro. Pointless. Self-defeating. Cringe. But today's "bombshell" utterly subverts the totally fake news narrative of sophisticated spyware tech, live feeds to HQ etc. It's a kid. With an iphone.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Here is the BOMBSHELL picture of Southampton analyst hiding behind tree & using phone to spy on Middlesbrough! 🔍 Our Spygate investigation reveals strong links of intern to Tonda Eckert & bank card payment trail! 👇 FULL STORY 👇 mol.im/a/15814229

@TheSaintCentre I know an iPhone is genuinely hi-tech, but really not the image that “hi-tech filming equipment” conjured up. Like his footage, not so much to see here.

@AdamBlackmore 3/6 point deduction next Championship season. No ticket allocation for Wembley?!? Think the EFL were praying for Boro to win; just to take playoff expulsion out of the equation.

If I had to guess how this #SaintsFc spy mess is going to turn out if found guilty, I’d go: 500k fine 3pts docked at the start of next season And if an individual turns out to be responsible for authorising it, a possible 6 month ban That’s my nearest the pin currently⛳️

@henrywinter As a Southampton fan, we’re disgusted by the alleged actions (presumably of the coaching staff & one would assume sanctioned by the club). It’s neither the players’ nor the fans’ fault; that’s a separation needing to be made.

Southampton have always been a club that did things the right way. Attractive football, long history, loyal and vocal support, important community department, good atmosphere at the Dell and St Mary’s, develop talent, even a great cat at the training ground. A sound club. A touch of class. So as they head to Wembley, and deservedly so as they were better than Boro on the night, perhaps those who run the club and run the football side consider how to restore the club’s reputation.  Because a club who many neutrals had a soft spot for risk becoming hard to like. Some Southampton fans will not worry about what others think of them. But they should. They are currently associated with cheating - Spygate - and for allegations of discriminatory language on the pitch (which have yet to be proven). That’s not what Southampton are about.  Their head coach, Tonda Eckert, rightly earned plenty of praise for his inspirational work this season but risks coming across as charmless at times. Interesting that Boro’s coach, Kim Hellberg, in his Sky Sports interview, congratulated Southampton players and supporters but not their coach. Southampton have gained a shot at the Premier League - any Spygate sanctions permitting - but lost some respect. Saints’ board and Eckert now have to work out how to restore that good reputation. And pray that the independent disciplinary commission does not punish them severely and swiftly for Spygate. As many people want them to. #SaintsFC #SOUMID

@JeremyVineOn5 Yes. It goes the heart of his & Reform’s integrity (or lack thereof). Probably just coincidence he wants to deregulate Crypto & publicly invest £200k in a startup. If the money was for security, show us the receipts & company invoices.

Nigel Farage's £5 million row - does it matter to you? The Reform UK leader is facing questions after it emerged he accepted £5 million from a wealthy businessman before standing as an MP. Should he have declared it?

Looking forward to your Standards investigation Indeed 5 million reasons to and that I assume i just the start. And to think you harped on for weeks about a few pairs of glasses. Anybody and everywhere journalists, individuals and organisations will be after every penny Reform and it's associates have 'gained' - likely involve th Brexit Party too.

@GavinBarwell @DavidGauke It’s not just a left-of-centre coalition. I possibly share similar conservative values as you both. I would vote for any party I thought had the best chance of keeping Reform out. General elections are not local ones, “where it doesn’t really matter”

@dave43law In some ways, many Brexit backers will have got the incompetent local council they voted for. Will just reinforce their impression that the “UK is shit”; but still without the understanding of why.

@Number10cat @JoeyMannarino Don’t tell Joey about the US wanting to check the social media history of anyone wanting to visit, before issuing a visa. It would blow his little mind.

I will NOT be attending the rally on May 16th in London that @TRobinsonNewEra is organizing and I likely won’t be attending CPAC UK either because the United Kingdom has decided, randomly, that I am unable to travel there any longer because my prescence is “not conducive to the public good”. I have had this ETA travel permission since last May and have been to the United Kingdom about four or five times since then. I didn’t reapply or anything. Today, I just woke up to this notice in my email. They have banned an American citizen from their country for no apparent reason whatsoever. I assume for matters of freedom of speech, but they haven’t clarified. I will most certainly be appealing that decision and applying for a visa through the formal process to see exactly why they’ve deemed me ineligible to come over. Free speech is DEAD in the United Kingdom. Absolutely dead. The Labour government has taken whatever was left of it and destroyed it.

Here are the facts as laid down by Derbyshire: 1) Farage says he won’t run 2) crypto billionaire pays him £5mill 3) Farage U-turns and runs 4) Farage hides the donation 5) Farage announces if he wins the election he will slash capital gains tax for crypto firms Same old same old
Farrukh@implausibleblog

Victoria Derbyshire spend 8 minutes taking apart Nigel Farage's £5,000,000 gift "As you'd expect we asked Reform UK for an interview tonight. One Reform UK press officer asked: with who and to discuss what" "We said we'd like to talk about the local elections, the detention centres in Green areas, and £5m gift from Christopher Harborne" "We didn't receive another reply"

@michaelwhite Anti-Semitic attacks in the UK are more prevalent & violent since Israel launched multiple genocidal campaigns. Both things are utterly abhorrent & both need to be condemned by all parties.
