Bought a flat for 1.5 Cr. Still paying 8,000 monthly maintenance. Extra charges for parking, clubhouse, generator, move-in pass & even pets. Builder promised luxury living. Reality: leaking walls, traffic noise & power cuts. Society gate looks like a 5 star hotel. Inside, residents still fight daily for water tankers. This isn’t premium housing. It’s EMI slavery with fancy brochures.

@volklub Blessed to be in GJ that way, solid infra to support new techs in cars, good roads & networks, solid electrical infrastructure with 98% roof top solar and blessed with vibrant economy unlike PUNJAB. (P.S I am from PB/HR) and it pains when natives have such basic problems there.

When I started building my home in 2016 with extreme excitement, I immediately realised that money isn’t a bigger issue, issue is to arrange ‘sand’ tipper which was hard to get, to arrange ‘mitti’ to fill the plot. To arrange bricks on time which were slow because of the shortage of ‘mitti’ because Government changed in 2017. Sooner my all excitement was gone and it became a headache. Today, buying a car is a similar headache with ongoing Ethanol & DPF issues and ever rising fuel costs. Nothing against EVs but power situation in my town is very bad and not everyone has a personal parking to have a charger installed. CNGs are lousy! Leave aside your so called love for the cars and just pick a 4-wheeler which can move you from A to B safely and work trouble-free for 6-8 years. Cars now are a use & throw commodity, this is all planned.

Very strong Proponent to create wealth by formal means. Proud to have ₹0 income in cash!
Muthukrishnan Dhandapani@dmuthuk

Warren Buffett has been filing his income tax returns from the age of 13. He is now 95. Not only he is filing returns for last 82 years, he has details and copies of all the 82 returns. When I was in US, lot of my free time was spent in local library. For a voracious reader like me, the variety and volume of books available were feast to the brain. That's when I first came across Warren Buffett. I think at that time he was the richest or second richest person on earth. And he built it from the scratch legally. I found it difficult to believe that someone can become richest person in the world purely through legal means. That created a huge impression in me. I made what my auditor then considered as a weird decision. From the time I started accumulating wealth, I began giving all the information to income tax department. For a few lakhs of rupees wealth, I started submitting cash flow statement, Profit and Loss account and balance sheet along with my IT returns. My current auditor came into my life around two decades ago. He was surprised when he saw my previous returns with this much details. I explained him why I needed it that way. He was also surprised that from every single bank transaction to all financial transactions were entered and maintained in Tally. I was also keeping in box files all back up papers for each financial year. Within few years of our relationship, he not only implemented this model for his family but also to some of his willing clients. After I got married, my wife found it very odd to file income tax returns like this. Convinced her and implemented the same for her too. Time runs fast. By God's grace, we are wealthy. But the interesting part is right from my first income tax return to last year - not only I've records of all IT returns, I also have original statements and documents for all financial years. It's all there in tally too. I don't have a single rupee of black money. More than investing, in which I'm still a novice, I learned lot of life lessons from Warren Buffett. I don't want to claim any moral superiority. For many people, especially in developed nations, this practice is very normal. Being honest is probably considered abnormal only in our country. From my life, I'm convinced that it is possible to become rich through legal means. I'm now 53. If God gives me say another 20 to 25 years of life, I'm confident of creating phenomenal wealth, that too purely through legal means. Warren Buffett says it is very important as to who you have as role model in life. I've few role models in life and probably he was the first to join the list. Role model matters. Building significant wealth through legal means is 100% possible.

Every single place in India is just so overcrowded. - Want to go to a park? Hundreds are already there, not enough space. - Want to go to a temple? You won’t even get five minutes of peace. - Want to visit a hill station? Not a single hotel is available. - Same with Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and everywhere else. It feels like the calmest place is your own house.

Any institute or a club funded or supported by government can’t be allowed restrictive and selective use of its facilities. Delhi Gymkhana, Golf Clubs etc all over the country run on free or subsidised huge land parcels provided by the babus ,for the babus and their cohorts only. Others have to wait for memberships till their grand children are born. Now they are paid well, let them join privately run clubs where they can outreach their contacts for networking. @PMO, @narendramodi @AmitShah @IASassociation @BureaucratsInd

This is unfortunate. It is truly tragic. ( Hope the proposal is reconsidered) @arunjaitley got a new pool constructed during his life time. Some of the finest tennis matches have been played here. So much history, so many memories, and generations of sporting excellence are associated with this place. The Delhi Gymkhana Club is not just a property — it is part of our institutional and sporting heritage. Change may be necessary, but history and legacy deserve thoughtful preservation. We can plan to add something new there too… ndtv.com/india-news/del…

A full blown illegal settlement around a MAJOR Mumbai railway station and we’re supposed to believe nobody knew? Police knew. BMC knew. Politicians knew. Railway authorities knew. Courts knew. Everyone fucking knew. You cannot have this level of encroachment in the middle of critical public infrastructure without years of protection, bribery, deliberate inaction and complete collapse of governance. Don’t just demolish the structures. Arrest the officials and politicians who allowed this disaster to grow in broad daylight for years.

Elon Musk's first wife once described what it's like to watch him fail. She said he doesn't react the way normal people react. When a rocket explodes, most people in the room go silent. Some cry. Some start calculating the financial damage. Musk pulls out his phone and starts making calls. Not emotional calls. Engineering calls. "What failed. When can we fix it. When's the next launch." His voice doesn't change. His face doesn't change. The rocket that just cost $60 million is already in the past. The next one is all that exists. She said it was the most unsettling thing she'd ever witnessed. Not because he was cold. Because he genuinely wasn't affected. The failure didn't register as failure. It registered as data. An experiment that produced results. Results that inform the next experiment. This is why he wins. Not because he doesn't fail. He fails more spectacularly than anyone in history. He wins because failure occupies zero psychological space. It enters as data and exits as action. Most people lose not because they fail but because they spend weeks processing the failure before acting again. Musk spends zero seconds. The gap between failure and next attempt is a phone call.

RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN MASSIVE STATEMENT ON CHENNAI SUPER KINGS He said : Forget about MS Dhoni, i have only one piece of advice for CSK fans : Keep Dhoni aside. He has spoiled you guys & he has kept CSK on a high pedestal. Times have changed, other teams have gotten smarter. That exact kind of success is not going to happen again. Do not place those same expectations & pressure onto a young captain, onto Ruturaj Gaikwad or anyone else. Learn to be realistic.

PM is traveling abroad to secure investments and ensure energy security in this period of economic gloom due to various global wars. It is one thing to know that, as a contender of PM post over the last 16 years, you don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this. However, I am intrigued to see your irritation towards promoting a reputed Indian brand (Parle). Is it because you don't want Indian brands to be showcased on the global stage? Or are you disgruntled by your intelligence (or lack of it), which has kept you puzzled over why melody is chocolaty?

As a Sikh of Punjab, I have been supporting BJP for Punjab when entire Punjab was against BJP, when BJP Punjab members today were not even members of BJP; rather, they were in opposition, leading Kisan Andolan against BJP. Same I believe it true for @ramnikmann Ji, who supported the party through and through. I personally suffered for it, still neither do I have any regrets nor do I have any expectations. Simply, it was my conviction based on past actions of top BJP leadership, their intention and efforts for Sikhs, and capability to deliver for Punjab. My conviction stands to this day and if or when necessary I will also be its harshest critic, and have been.

Voting for BJP in Punjab is no more an option; it's a critical necessity. It is the call of Dharm for the future of our women & children, our resources, our soil and water. Each and every Punjabi on my profile should encourage at least five of their family and friends to vote for BJP, more the better. I am not making this appeal because I am associated with the BJP; I am not associated at all. I am simply choosing the best and the necessary option for Punjab.
