@ManukaAfrica @celestialbe1ng @ZOEMFOSSE NZ supp selection is not fantastic and the import restrictions for pure stuff is strict. Honestly just consume a lot of fruit and you won’t have to worry about Vitamin C. We are lucky to have a lot of fresh, organic fruit.

@gioblaze0069 @arbitrage Yes it definitely would! However something to be wary of with kefir is the amount of lactic acid you'd be getting from it. Can you get milk too? I personally drink about 2-4 liters of raw goats milk per day, get 80% of my calories from it. Its been such a revelation for me.

@imjoshlawrence @arbitrage That is interesting, thank you. Will raw organic goat kefir work to regulate blood sugar similar to milk?

Hey boys, i need some help After 7 years in the industry of working very hard followed by benders my sympathetic nervous system is just cracked out - i'm stuck in "fight or flight" , where my brain is just always pumping adrenaline/cortisol I can barely sleep, any fixes?
Gio Blaze@gioblaze0069

@AbudBakri My adrenals are so cracked out if i even have a medium intensity workout my sympathetic nervous system will be dumping adrenaline and cortisol for hours after - what is the best way to improve parasympathetic tone? I can't even get too excited without SNS firing

@gioblaze0069 @arbitrage Frankly, I was stuck in that state for years. I tried carnivore, keto etc and those made things MUCH worse. Milk regulates your blood sugar and the calcium calms your cells. Glucose will feed your mitochondria and give you energy. Then get miconutrients from oysters, beef etc.

@gioblaze0069 @arbitrage Tbh, processed sugar isn't bad. It's sucrose. The problem is what its packaged with. Last year i was in the same position as you. Stuck in fight or flight, high adrenaline, high cortisol - until I introduced milk and honey. If you can tolerate lactose it'll change your life.

@arbitrage @gioblaze0069 And drinking a gallon of water will dilute minerals in your body. Drink plenty of milk, orange juice, and broths, as well as eating your hydration in the form of fruits, oysters etc. If you are gonna drink water, make sure it’s spring water dense in minerals like Gerolsteiner.

@arbitrage @gioblaze0069 Bad advice. Sugar is anti stress and lowers cortisol and adrenaline. Reducing it will increase stress hormones. He should be upping sugar, and upping raw animal fats, and have zero fasting windows other than sleep. Eat a lot, and often. Get off screens and out in nature.

Been taking modafinil for j*b. It's great for dealing with sleep deprivation. Second to none. Seems to cause a crazy histamine rebound for me though. Anyone got any tips on mast cell stabilisation? Total histamine death.

@EpicSam11 @wotancore It has no real “flavour” per se, it is tree sap. Maybe the tiniest bit piney but hardly.

@wotancore I got some mastic gum recently, for the first time. The flavor was surprisingly weak. Is it supposed to be like that, or did I perhaps get the wrong kind or poor quality?

@imjoshlawrence Cow milk/dairy also gave me brain fog/lethargy just like meat. But I never tried goat dairy.

I’ve spent years dealing with a predictable pattern. I’ll eat a meal with a decent amount of protein and within an hour I experience depression-like symptoms (lethargy, brain fog, irritability). It happens on both low-carb and high-carb diets. I’ve tried smaller meals, more fat, more carbs, different protein sources, etc. The only thing that worked was to simply avoid protein for most of the day and eat protein primarily in the evening. A few weeks ago I started taking 300mg elemental magnesium from magnesium malate (150mg with breakfast + 150mg with dinner). After about 10 days, the post meal energy/mood crashes completely disappeared. Now I eat 40-50g protein per meal 3x per day with no issues. Possible theories at the moment: impaired ammonia clearance or NMDA overactivation. Open to other theories, if anyone has ideas. Has anyone else experienced this?

@markeatsmeat For context, my diet atm consists mostly of raw milk, fresh OJ, cheese, some fruits, well cooked potatoes here and there. Pretty peaty I guess, but removing muscle meat was the biggest game-changer for me. It’s a very “alive” diet and it certainly feels that way.

@markeatsmeat Honestly, ever since switching to milk I have zero cravings for meat and feel infinitely better. Lean, smooth skin, consistent high mood and energy, and clear headed. I have muscle meat intermittently but I never feel quite right if I have too much. Worth a shot I reckon!

@hephunderground Try having goats milk along with little to zero fiber in your diet. (Milk, pulp free fruit juices, eggs, meat, oysters) Start slow and titrate up and you should have no issue. This solved my lactose issues, now milk makes up a large part of my diet.

@Thermobolic I’ve had the exact same experience. I went keto —> carnivore —> alt peating w/ lots of meat —> classic peating w/ lots of dairy Every single issue I’ve had over the years has resolved since swapping meat for dairy. I still have a lil red meat & seafood every other day tho.

I can't agree with this, but I'm starting to wonder about meat. The more protein I get from dairy vs meat, the better I look and feel. 200g protein from meat ≠ 200g protein from dairy. IMO dairy is far superior.
