I also really dislike that Icon Composer adds these corner highlights to icons *for iOS ≤ 18 and macOS ≤ 15* for the same reason these look good on macOS and iOS 26 because everything has them and they’re consistent on 18/15 though, not every app has them, but if Icon Composer is used to create the icon, it suddenly does and there is no way for the developers to opt out? if you’ve been noticing random apps on iOS 18 and macOS 15 get these highlights, they’re not there because the developers wanted them to be there, but because Apple are FORCING them to be added if developers want to design a proper Liquid Glass icon for 26 it just feels like a really passive-aggressive reminder to upgrade which is probably exactly what Apple wanted, but it sucks that developers don’t get to have control over this or that Apple can’t put their own vanity aside for one (1) second here it’d be fine if the actual Liquid Glass effect on the icon were carried over into older versions (since that’s clearly what the developer intends when using Icon Composer) but the corner highlights aren’t since Nothing Has Those

@antoineguilbert Dans mon cas, j'hésite beaucoup pour mon 1er NAS entre : • le Synology DS1525+, Ubiquiti UNAS 4 ou OWC ThunderBay 4 (+ un Mac mini comme serveur) • ou le UGREEN DXP4800+ pour du all-in-one. Avec comme use case : dizaine de containers Docker (Homebridge, *Arr, etc) + Jellyfin.

@antoineguilbert Le UNAS 4 offre bien le hot-swap des disques d'après le tableau. Au final, hormis les caméras, je ne vois pas trop d'avantages côté intégration avec leur écosystème. La seule vraie différenciation semble être le choix entre un NAS "pur storage" vs un NAS "serveur" avec des apps.

@antoineguilbert ...ce qui redonne la responsabilité du IPv6 à la Freebox (et donc crucial d'activer le firewall IPv6 sur Freebox OS). Pas fan de ce setup mixte, je préférerai que les deux (IPv4 et IPv6) soit gérer par le Linksys/Ubiquiti seul.

@antoineguilbert Tu peux tester si tu as une IPv6 sur ipleak.net ou ifconfig.co. Avec mon Linksys et Freebox en mode bridge, j'ai seulement une IPv4. La seule solution est de set les settings IPv6 du Linksys en Passthrough...

@_Kavsoft Small nitpick: would it be difficult to make the main sheet "push" the left & right sheets as you scroll? The Books app keeps the spacing between the sheets instead of scrolling on top of them. And also the swipe down to close gesture?

Since each detail view is a scroll view, we can easily recreate the same effect by combining scroll geometry and custom scroll target behavior. Result👇

current dock been experimenting with more advanced shortcuts, the latest models are killer at helping you build exactly what you want custom X icon bc of course the bird was better and it makes me feel better lol the feather posts to all platforms (X, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, Micro blog) the plus interprets your input and decides if it’s an item for Things, an alert for Reminders, or a note/memory for Notion and adds it to the right app

@buildwithdjdev @NativeScript Too bad but not surprising. I think Chrome extensions can add an entry to the context menu, but not sure if it can behave exactly like Apple Translate in Safari. Curiously, the Look Up feature is still there... and opens the exact same way.

@fatih I'd like to have a good fountain, ballpoint, fineliner & marker. I haven't used a fountain pen since middle school but I really enjoyed writing with it back then. The Lamy 2000 seems out of my budget for now but it looks really nice so I'll keep it in mind for the future, thanks!

@imkh0 What kind of pen? I love Fountain pens and have several of thems. They are flexible, really nice to use (assuming you have good paper/notebook) and comes in variety of properties. Lamy 2000 for example is a very good Fountain pen as a starter, and I use it daily.

Probably the best paper so far I used. It has some tactility and is like a butter with my fountain pens. Highly recommended. I also tried several other brands, like Tomoe River, TN, Leuchtturm, Moleskine (was the worst), but nothing comes close to it. Only con is, it doesn't have a proper cover. If you want to carry it with you, you need to protect it well or buy an additional cover. Because it's in A5, there are tons of options, which is nice.
