@BobFromAccounts I am shocked, I find myself agreeing with you. All drivers should sit 5 year post passing tests, then refresher tests every 10 years on licence renewal, including eyesight checks. Treat driving is like a professional skill, and professionals need CPD. Then extend to cyclists too.

Incredible that you can pass your driver's licence at 17 years old and drive for at least another 50 years without any re-test or checks whilst simultaneously developing so many bad driving habits that would have prevented you from getting your licence in the first place.

@WarksCyclist @ChaponaBike123 I have had a license for nearly 40 years, thankfully never hit a cyclist, don't put yourself in danger, and don't antagonise other inherently safe road users.

@ims_ian @ChaponaBike123 If that's your view and you have a driving licence, send it back to Swansea SA99. There are many cars and cyclists with cameras reporting this stuff to the Police and you will be caught at some point.

It seems the driving instructor hadn't got to the bit in the manual about cyclists yet. There was a pupil driving. Surely a little prompt - "you've got plenty of time, mirrors, signal, overtake the cyclist with plenty of space", but this driving school seems to be breeding the next generation close passers.

@ChaponaBike123 The cyclist should be in the centre of the road so being too close to the kerb invites the poor overtake of the cyclist. Submit the forage for the driving school for due care and submit the footage for the pick up on zig zags.
