@heysatya_ It depends, a good portion of devs do their work for 3rd party or customers, not for themselves you can send a code challenge like a set of screens to check how well it will work with you. Evaluate if the screens work as you expect and how well was it brought to the app

How do you even judge a good app developer? Most of the ones who DM me haven’t published anything on the App Store. And the ones who did their apps don’t have great design or interactions. We’ll handle the design part - it’ll be top-notch, but I’m not sure how to judge their dev skills just by those apps. I’m planning to build something with Duolingo-level smoothness (not the idea, but the feel). If anyone can develop on that level, reach out.
