@rtenews This is tragic for all concerned and my sympathies to the family of the cyclist. But for clarity, who collided with who? Cyclist colliding with truck implies the cyclist was moving and truck static. Subtle implications in the headline. Please clarify @rtenews @RSAIreland

This needs to stop. Active travel schemes & speed limit reductions are repeatedly watered down, delayed or blocked by councils across the country. This has consequences. We need cross-party leadership & courage at both national & local govt to end preventable child deaths.
