تحدثتُ هاتفياً مع أخي، جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، ملك الأردن، وتقدمتُ إليه بتهاني عيد الفطر المبارك مسبقاً. وقد أعربنا عن قلقنا إزاء تطورات الأوضاع في غرب آسيا، وأكدنا على ضرورة اللجوء إلى الحوار والدبلوماسية من أجل استعادة السلام والأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة في أقرب وقت ممكن. إن الهجمات التي تستهدف البنية التحتية للطاقة في غرب آسيا تُعد أعمالاً مدانة، ومن شأنها أن تؤدي إلى تصعيد يمكن تجنبه. وتؤكد كل من الهند والأردن وقوفهما داعمتين لحرية انسياب حركة البضائع والطاقة دون أي عوائق. كما أعربتُ عن تقديري العميق للجهود التي بذلها الأردن لتسهيل العودة الآمنة للمواطنين الهنود الذين تقطعت بهم السبل في المنطقة. @KingAbdullahII

Ambassador @ParamitaTrpathi held an interaction with representatives of the media in Kuwait today on the evolving situation and measures taken by the Embassy to, inter alia, overcome the challenges arising from airspace closure in Kuwait. Ambassador apprised the media representatives of leadership-level interactions between India and Kuwait, and highlighted ongoing efforts to facilitate the movement of Indian nationals in urgent need of travel from Kuwait to India, and arrangements for India-bound special flights. She praised the responsible and resilient Indian community in Kuwait and thanked the Kuwait Government for ensuring the safety and security of all in this difficult time. It's been 3 weeks now but the status still shows as Processing at Embassy. We have written to the community email and we are still waiting for a response. We tried calling the Contact number for Visa enquiry but no response.

In continuation of regular coordination with representatives of airline companies in Kuwait in view of the prevailing security situation in Kuwait and the region, Ambassador @ParamitaTrpathi held a virtual interaction today with representatives of Indian air carriers operating in Kuwait. The Ambassador reviewed the current operational status of Indian air carriers in the region to support Indian nationals from Kuwait requiring emergency travel to India via Saudi Arabia. @indembkwt Due to Kuwait airport being closed, I want to go from Saudi to India. Please tell me what is the process and how much does it cost. I also contacted on WhatsApp and email but there was no response.
