@zoink AI layer renaming is surprisingly bad. It almost never renames the selected frame and only the contained layers. Also I’ll have a single text layer and it will refuse to rename the layer even when it’s the only selected layer. Trying multiple times does nothing. Wondering if there is some underlying rate limiting on inference that isn’t being communicated for the second issue?

@antoniusaldo @figma Sorry this is happening! We'll look into it. Is the repro here just: (1) Open Actions, go to Plugins & widgets (2) Run a plugin (3) See this tooltip ? Is it happening with any plugin you run or just certain ones?

I appreciate the AI and all, but why does this popup show up every single time I open a plugin? @figma

@andrei_iancu_ @figma Can you say more about what's unexpected / what you didn't like here? We've been tidying up this UI a bit in preparation for some accessibility work: because we're re-using the Tab menu from plugin parameters, plugin submenus are now accessible from the keyboard.

Since when is it possible to see plugin commands like that in @figma? I hope this isn't the first step toward migrating to a version where they are completely hidden like this... 😭

@KunalSh94502193 @figma We're hoping to improve this in the future! In the meantime though, you can use Shift+I to jump directly into the Assets tab here.

@figma This is an extra step to select Assets. Why is the result not showing in All?

@bryanberger @daniel__designs @brian_lovin Plugins / widgets you've recently used will appear in the All tab soon! We're testing it now.

@daniel__designs @brian_lovin I want it to do everything, open files, apply a variable/style to selection, be faster (cache designated libs), learn over time and remember preferences. For some reason it rarely remembers plugins if you haven't used them for a while(?) — a bunch of stuff I could expand on

It'd be awesome if the ⌘K menu in Figma could be used to jump between pages. I have >50 pages in a file and it's really hard to find them in the sidebar.

@gvrri @figma @Shopify Definitely hear you on this! A few follow-up Qs: are you referring to plugins that are monetized in some way? plugins that are free but require you to sign up for an account with them?

This trend of every @figma plugin requiring a sign up has to STOP. I don't mind giving my email or eventually even paying for it. But @figma has to create a system like @shopify where I don't have to create a separate account for each one of them. It's getting ridiculous.

@nmeans @united This is me, but with @Delta. It's almost a gift from the airlines - loyalty no longer matters, it's all about who can offer me the best route/schedule/service for $$ value.

Welp, @united's qualification tiers went up so much for 2023 that I booked my first ticket on WN for work travel in years today. I could hit the segments for the next tier with UAL, but I'm so far out on dollars/PQP it's not worth trying when I can fly nonstop on WN instead.

@krubenok Right? I can’t claim credit, saw that take elsewhere, but it’s very accurate, especially with the amount of action in the penultimate episode.

I don’t often re-watch TV, but I keep coming back to the last two episodes of #foundation season 2 - they kept the incredible world-building of season 1 and brought Game of Thrones-style drama and intrigue. I cannot wait for season 3.

@duolingo something seems very wrong with the sync engine in the app - the status (levels completed, levels legendaried, etc.) I’m seeing is not mine 😢

There's zero chance that a retool mascot gets named 'toolverine' and that's a big miss.

@corywilkerson But honestly though I really miss issues as a replacement for email. Editable, easier to read threads, grouped by topic (where repo == topic, at least).
