Nothing is enough but that doesn’t mean nothing matters.

Since the beginning of the famine, my body has started to waste away. White spots have begun to appear on my skin, my hair is falling out, and I’m experiencing disturbances in my bones and muscles. My body is depleting its vitamin reserves, to the point that some vitamins are completely exhausted. Writing used to be part of my daily life—my habit, my identity, everything I did. Today, I can’t even remember the words to write. My mind can no longer produce texts. This starvation that Israel is subjecting us to is one of the vilest forms of genocide. I am being drained in a way that words cannot describe.
