Everyone says “AI will take all the jobs.” If that happens… how does this future actually work? No jobs → no income → no spending. So who buys things? Who pays rent? Who keeps the economy moving? What am I missing here?

@homegymcoop I get the desire to bring your son, but having done dozens of fitness/health/sports med trade shows, I would not want to have kids there. The expo is full of potentially dangerous equipment, and supervised by mostly sales people 🤷🏼‍♀️. Age 18 seems extreme tho; I’d think 12+ is ok.

I brought my son to the biggest fitness trade show in the USA. We fly across the country, get to the entrance and a guy puts his hand out and says, “no one under 18 is allowed in.” The absolute lack of desire to see the next generation love fitness is insane.

Ok Senator Duck… let's actually talk about what the SAVE Act does, since you apparently don't want to. ALL THE SAVE ACT DOES is require proof of citizenship to register to vote. That's it. Proof. Of. Citizenship. The same thing you need to get a job, open a bank account, or board a plane. The entire European Union requires this. Canada requires it. Germany requires it. EVEN MEXICO requires photo ID to vote AND uses INK ON YOUR FINGER to prevent double voting. The argument that asking Americans to prove they're American before they vote in American elections is some kind of authoritarian power grab is so intellectually stupid it barely deserves a response. I’m so sick of this crap… I used to vote for Democrats, what in the HELL happened to you?!!!!

@bennyjohnson The ID you needed to fly domestically is NOT enough for SAVE. You know that, but you keep lying. You do NOT need proof of citizenship to fly. A state driving license photo ID is enough for almost all ID needs in U.S. e.g. buying alcohol, medications, U.S. travel.

I just went through TSA. Had to show my Government ID. Turns out — 90% of America have flown commercial and had to do the same thing. That’s +300 million people. If we can do it to fly we can do it to vote. Both must require absolute security. PASS the SAVE America Act 🇺🇸

@mnolangray Almost everywhere I’ve lived has exactly this scene in summer… Boulder and Telluride in CO, Santa Cruz in CA, the San Juan islands in WA. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Of course, in some summer touristy areas Trump policies have reduced foreign tourists (inc Canada), and that’s led to fewer events 😔

I often see conservative content like this, and I wonder: do they not realize stuff like this still happens? Every city and suburb in the country hosts a procession of family-focused summer events. You can go to them!
