@Lk67Lkm @WhiteHouse great. so russia and china are now moral compass. in questions like mass surveilance. this is abslutely communist POV: lets cancel freedom to fight "bigger evil".
English

@WhiteHouse China, Russia, and North Korea aren't playing by ethical rules, quite the opposite, they're racing ahead with unrestricted AI for drones, missiles, and cyber ops. We can't afford to fall behind in this arms race for the sake of national security.
English

"THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL NEVER ALLOW A RADICAL LEFT, WOKE COMPANY TO DICTATE HOW OUR GREAT MILITARY FIGHTS AND WINS WARS! That decision belongs to YOUR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, and the tremendous leaders I appoint to run our Military.
The Leftwing nut jobs at Anthropic have made a DISASTROUS MISTAKE..." - President Donald J. Trump

English

@robertsepehr @elonmusk thats slop. just look how elons hand goes trough robot's body.
English

@elonmusk No way that is a robot. It's AI or a guy in a suit.
English

@cynthiapace1 @matterasmachine @Glenn_Diesen Also FYI, Ukraine's safety was already under protection of countries like the the USA, UK and Russia. And unlike NATO's "non-expansion" it was not a vague promise, but it was an actual document with obligation to protect the country...
English

NO. Ukraine can guarantee its security, safety & sovereignty by pledging neutrality. Just like Austria “ successfully“ did in 1954.
Putin‘s issue is NATO expansion & the arming if Ukraine through NATO. PLEDGE neutrality. And the war will be over.
Zelinsky is a traitor to Ukraine & Ukrainian people. And he’s keeping this going to benefit himself. It’s horrific.
Whether Russia gives back some of the land it has taken - it may or may not. But Ukraine is not in a position to demand the terms of peace. Russia is leading on the battlefield in Russia, commands the terms of the peace agreement.
English

- The meeting between Trump and Zelensky descended many times into a “shouting match”, with Trump “cursing all the time”
- The US president tossed aside maps of the frontline in Ukraine, insisted Zelenskyy surrender the entire Donbas region to Putin
- Trump told Zelenskyy he was losing the war, warning: “If [Putin] wants it, he will destroy you.”

English

@cynthiapace1 @matterasmachine @Glenn_Diesen So you are saying, that in 2014 Putin had issue with NATO and thats why he annexed Krimea?
Lets suppose this is true.
Next step would be war on Baltic states and Finland, since all of them joined NATO as a part of "expansion".
Oh wait, we have Poland and Czech Respublic. DDR?
English

@ronzheimer @TuckerCarlson it is incredible how Tucker never lets you say more than one or two words every time his view differs from your perspective. Is he like obsessed with his own voice or what?
English

Ich war bei @TuckerCarlson zuhause in Maine. Ab Sonntag auf allen Plattformen, BamS, online, Podcast. Es ging um Trump, Weltpolitik und Deutschland.

@CamMckinnon @HereLiesBlueDog There is a serious logical problem in saying that the richest genius is not charging a cent. Yea, he is so rich, he does not care for the money? Of wait, maybe people become rich because this is the sole thing they care.
English

@HereLiesBlueDog Yes, let’s question the richest man ever, most successful businessman ever, genius, humanitarian, astronaut saving, with well know medical issues that’s trying to save the country from sinking & not charge a cent!!
And you’re still wondering why you lost & keep losing so badly!
English

@JanMokking @Ned_Donovan IIt is nice to be a tourist anywhere on earth. Google what hikikomori is, and name any other culture where people feel so socially insecure.
Also, it is kind of strange to speak of a "monocultural" country that, in fact, lost its identity after WWII.
English

@JaceAussie @DaveMilbo why don't you do your own research, like read the definition of genocide? Transfer of the children is listed separately. Forced displacement might and should be considered a destruction of the group.
English

Gaza becoming a seaside casino resort after a US sponsored genocide and ethnic cleansing is peak banality of evil.
Really American 🇺🇸@ReallyAmerican1
Donald Trump on Gaza: "There is nothing to buy. It's a war-torn area, we're gonna take it. We're gonna hold it, we're gonna cherish it." He has no authority to do this. This is absolutely insane talk.
English

@pavlibeis @vtchakarova yea. and adblock / tracking-block browser market does not exist. there are no hundreds of tools to prevent websites from tracking and collecting data on you. no one complains about advertisers knowing you are terminally ill before your family. yea.
English

@vtchakarova well. you know, i am happy that i have a right to request any company to send me complete report on all collected data, as well as request them to delete it. This is my right. I also have a business and i respect and comply GDPR for my customers.
English

@MelisaMimosa420 @elonmusk he has time to hire people to do that for him, thats the whole point of being rich. His diablo account is as fake as Elder Ring.
English

@elonmusk When you realize that Elon Musk can be the White House tech support, run 7 companies, have 11 kids, be a top Diablo player, and still have time to post memes on X
But she's " too busy " to text you back

@eric_demuth sorry for reaching you here, but your support team works quite bad. it is sloppy and inconsistent, i have a very simple problem to solve, but it seems it is all AI loop writing dumb stuff to me over and over again.
English

Podcast is out. Was intense and fun. Lots of Bitcoin & crypto in there and of course the role of the new US gov.

November 6, 2024: A Turning Point for the World
I’ve waited to share a political comment because what’s happening in Germany is almost beyond words for me as a German living abroad. I’m no fan of turning Germany into the U.S., especially when it comes to social issues. But the constant complaining about how terrible @realDonaldTrump, @elonmusk, and the like are gets on my nerves. In Europe, we’re long past the point of dictating to the U.S. or China. We first need to get our own house in order and work our way up before we can hope to sit at the table with the world’s powers as equals again. I’m also frustrated with big German CEOs who complain behind closed doors, but few have the courage to speak out publicly. The fact that things have reached this point is also due to boardrooms lacking enough backbone.
Germany in Crisis
The former industrial powerhouse is in a dismal state regarding infrastructure and competitiveness. The U.S., meanwhile, is set to boost its economy and innovation like never before, deregulating so radically that jaws in Brussels will drop. The U.S. is preparing for an innovation and technology battle with China, with no regard for collateral damage. Under 16 years of Merkel, crucial reforms that could have secured the future of this industrial giant were missed. But instead of taking the necessary steps now, we’re seeing economic policies that belong in children’s books.
The idea of creating a sustainable energy foundation is sound. But cutting off the existing industrial foundation before we can stand on the new one is absurd. All we’ve done is weaken ourselves while making the U.S. and Asia even stronger. Wishful thinking and reality are worlds apart here. This government is the most expensive Germany has ever had and a trailblazer of its own deindustrialization. We’re resting on the prosperity of the past and forgetting that we’re no longer global leaders. Our “Kodak/Nokia moment”—the decline of a former market leader—has begun. We lack the willingness to face reality. This attitude resembles impoverished nobility clinging to a lost reality.
What We Can Learn from the U.S.
The most agile player wins—in evolution, business, and politics. This shift is an opportunity for us to catch up on our homework in Europe. Germany and the EU need courage: no small reforms, but radical restructuring and innovation. Enough with the fear of data and modern nuclear power! We need an Agenda 2030 that’s bipartisan.
The world is changing—we decide whether it changes with us or without us.

#MoscowAttack #Russia
I have followed #ISIS closely since its inception in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, drawing on my fieldwork and studies as a terrorism and counter-terrorism expert and academic and a war journalist. With this background, I question the claim that Islamic State is responsible for the Moscow attack. My scepticism is based on several anomalies and unusual aspects that undermine the authenticity of ISIS's claim:
1. The use of the term "Muqatileen" in the communique is atypical; previous communiques have preferred the terms "Mujahideen" or "Fursan" or "Istishadeyeen".
2. Amaq's statement that the attackers had "safely withdrawn" contradicts reports of their capture. Amaq usually waits to announce the results of attacks until all the results are in, but in this case they prematurely claimed success even though the terrorists had been arrested.
3. ISIS has never used voice changers in its communiqués. Notably, even when "Jihadi John" changed his voice due to his British nationality and recognition, voice changers were not used. The attackers in this case were not Western, and it is unprecedented for non-Western members to use voice changers, even when shouting "Allahu Akbar" or versus related to the Koran.
4. Live webcasting of attacks is not a method used by ISIS. While Go-Pro cameras have been used in the past, they have never been connected to a live internet feed to avoid the risk of interception, unless there is an advanced capability to scramble the signal after transmission.
5. Amaq consistently publishes the name of its media agency in both Arabic and English when attacks occur outside the Middle East, a detail missing from this claim.
For the reasons outlined above, combined with my professional reluctance based on past experience of claimed attacks in Iran where subsequent communiques were corrected, I am inclined to discount the claim of ISIS involvement in the Moscow attack.
Further disclosure of other discrepancies has been withheld to avoid providing insights that could be used to refine future claims.
