Contact forms for normies should be as simple as creating one, publishing your site, and never having to deal with them again.
For Widgetizer hosting, I’m simply detecting whether a site has a form widget, automatically adding Turnstile, creating an inbox for submissions and emailing them to the site owner.
Job done.

Resend started as a frustration.
As an indie hacker, working nights and weekends, I felt like every email service was built for someone else.
So I decided to create my own.
Today @marclou runs 33 startups solo on it.
I know Resend is not for everyone (and that's okay), but it feels nice to be able to build products for other indie hackers.

When the people we need to build our future cannot afford to live here, the vision starts to look like a gated community.
With remote work and tech relocations pushing demand to its limit, we are seeing exactly what happens when infrastructure does not keep up with ambition. If we do not pivot from luxury towers to affordable, high-efficiency housing, our top talent will simply find a future somewhere else.
A smart city isn't just about fast internet. It is about a roof you can afford. It is time to build an island for everyone, not just for the few.

My second app just crossed $7k+/month (web + app combined) 🔥.
Slow growth every single week, but compounding is real.
Still following the same philosophy:
→ build 10 apps
→ make at least $5k/month from each one
(Funny enough, most of them end up doing $10k+/month 😂)
Still ~92% profit margin if I don’t count Apple tax.
Probably even higher this month because I stopped buying new phones and just reuse old devices for operations. New phones are only for testing future apps now.
Still an indie hacker. (solo founder)
Still no VC money.
Still no paid ads.
So profit optimization always matters more to me than looking “big” on the internet 🔥

My second app just hit $6,000 MRR (across both app and web). I’m still sticking to my thesis: build 10 apps that each reach $5k/month, then automate everything so they generate income even while I sleep. Right now, if I exclude Apple fees, my profit margin is around 92% across all my apps. As I’ve said, I’m an indie hacker and solo founder, so I optimize for profit because I’m not VC-backed.

@levelsio to be fair, it's crazy how much more risks american investors at taking on startups in comparison. Example : Facebook had raised about $41 million USD in investment before it became a serious revenue-generating business. Good luck finding someone in europe to give you that

Worse than that though is you get the smartest and best people in your country not working on producing better products and services that can compete worldwide
But instead they get really good at writing subsidy/grant applications to win free money and become dependent on it

Subsidies in Europe are generally a net negative because they change incentives People won't compete to become the best at their job, they'll just compete who can win the most subsidies So you get below average people doing below average work but getting paid for it

Κατεβάζεις τη φόρμα για να την τυπώσεις τζαι να τη γεμωσεις εσσω σου με την πεννα τζαι να την πάρεις μαζί σου.

Screencut.app – a small app. No AI.
But it’s useful for anyone who wants to increase the visibility of their posts.
It helped me reach 5.3M views in 90 days.
No magic here, but when I turn a plain screenshot into a bright, eye-catching image, people stop scrolling and actually read the post.
This app got me into the $1000 MRR club.

I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

* My main motivation for this podcast is to discuss the dangerous time we live in, as the world must adjust to a multipolar distribution of power. After the Cold War, security was based on the notion of a liberal hegemonic peace, in which stability depended on the uncontested dominance of the Political West rather than on mitigating security competition between the great powers. During this era, we developed a powerful ideology that assumed peace could only exist under liberal hegemony and sovereign inequality. We insisted that our dominance was a “force for good” and even stopped discussing the security concerns of rivals. Unipolarity is already gone and has been replaced by a multipolar world—yet we still continue to follow the rules of a hegemon to the detriment of our own security. The wars against Russia, Iran, and future war with China will predictably end in tragedy as a workable peace is ignored, and the reluctance to recognise the security concerns of adversaries will continue to result in self-delusion.
