I sold my '23 Hyundai Palisade to Carmax for $27,000 the other day and as we were waiting to sign the docs, I reminded my wife that we had paid $55,000 for it just 3 years ago. The cost to own that vehicle for 3 years was $28,000! In contrast, if I had bought a G-wagon for 55K, 3 years later it would likely be worth 50k-55k! A Hyundai Palisade is more expensive than a G-Wagon!
