White boy around 8 years old says “Mommy is this upper class?” Mom says “Yes this is first class” Boy looks at me and says “Mom, how come a Black guy is in upper class and we’re not?” Embarrassed mother shuffles the boy along toward their seats. Drug dealers, Child molesters, murderers, murder victims, thieves, armed robbers, con artists. And a lot of great folks,all races and economic backgrounds. Yep, I am a racist.

Told this Polish guy at work I'm from Gambia and he told me he has a friend from Ghana. So I also told him I have a friend from Romania now we're both staring in silence.

Racism is a low-effort, low-intelligence shortcut, the lazy man’s answer to complex social problems that actually demand intelligence, effort, and honesty.

Your children always wanting to be in your room, in your space, or just near you is really a sign that they feel safe with you. They love your presence, your energy, and the comfort of home you created for them. That’s not something to take lightly. Job well done.

I’m an immigrant who’s lived and worked in the UK for 16 years. I have a North American accent and I’m white. I’ve never once been told to ‘go back’ to my ‘shithole country’ or to ‘stop stealing jobs from British people’. You’re not concerned about immigration. You’re racist.
