@VerizonSupport So how are you going to do that? Why is your service still out? There has been NO updates from your company during this entire outage and how did it happen and what steps are you taking so it doesn’t happen again?

The fiber cut that caused a service disruption for wireless customers in the Newburgh area of Upstate NY today has been repaired, and service was fully restored as of 4:45 PM ET today. Well 7:45 came and went and still no service. I was promised by tech support that the problem would be fixed by 7:45pm today 7.6.26

Currently on almost 27 hours of no Internet and zero communication as to what is going on. I get that outages happen, but that's no excuse for the terrible communication. Do better @verizonsupport

@VerizonSupport Marlborough, MA has been dealing with a Fios outage for about 24 hours now. Getting repair ETAs has been a painful and pointless process as every ETA has been missed and no one can communicate what the issue is. Is this what we should expect for service?

There was a weather delay on the Esplanade but 7 didn’t even bother to run a scroll to let viewers know they were running taped clips from yesterday’s rehearsal. A Clownshow. ….they came back live at 8pm…also, Jane Lynch is kind of stiff as a host.

UPDATE: @NASA can confirm a fireball over New England at 2:06 p.m. EDT on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The meteor was about 5 feet (1.6 meters) in diameter with a mass of 5.6 metric tons and entered Earth’s atmosphere at roughly 42,000 mph.
The meteor traveled through the atmosphere from northwest to southeast for 26 miles before breaking up at an altitude of 31 miles and producing a meteorite fall into Cape Cod Bay.
Based on the latest data, the energy released at breakup is estimated to be equivalent to about 230 tons of TNT, which accounts for the sonic boom.

#MeteorSighting: Eyewitnesses in New England and @NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite reported a bright fireball on Saturday, May 30, at 2:06 p.m EDT accompanied by a loud noise. The meteor appears to have fragmented at an altitude of 40 miles over northeast MA and southeast NH. The energy released at breakup is estimated to be equivalent to about 300 tons of TNT, which accounts for the loud noise. Eyewitness accounts supplied by the American Meteor Society.
