$RKLB down another 13% today, and we’ve given back all of our YTD gains. For those new here processing fear and uncertainty, let me share the 3 times I felt real fear as a long-term @RocketLab investor…and why I’m still here. 1️⃣ Right after going public, they acquired SolAero and Sinclair Interplanetary. I worried they were getting too big, too fast; expanding before launch was even dialed in. This was the beginning of Space Systems that now generates the majority of revenue🤔➡️🤦🏻‍♀️➡️🤩 2️⃣ Catching an Electron booster with a helicopter. Every attempt, I feared a tragedy that could cost human life and literally end the company. Catching something falling from Space with a hoist sounded impossible. They pulled it off…then pivoted to designing Neutron reusable from day one, applying everything they learned🫣➡️😮‍💨➡️🙂 3️⃣ The first capital raise. No indication or warning signs. I had to just trust the process. It was a gut punch and I remember tagging @Peter_J_Beck with my reaction. The raise would lead to more acquisitions and money needed for R&D😒➡️😥➡️🤩 Those fears were based on real risks and early uncertainty. Today, the company is, IMO, 100x more de-risked and what’s happening right now doesn’t appear to be company-related at all. I’m still trusting the process. It hasn’t failed me yet, and you can see how these moments eventually played out. Other Longs, what have been your moments of doubt along the way?👇

I can't tell you how many times I got hit with 100s of $$ in fraudulent shipping charges which, upon research, were found to have originated from within UPS. Untangling the mess each time was exhausting and never assured.

LOL. My wife's biz sent a piece of jewelry to customer in Chicago thru @UPS. Security cameras in the building show pretty clearly that the @UPS driver stole the package. Police reports filed. UPS refuses to honor the insurance because they said no signature was required. 🤪

@maddenifico It is possible to hold strong political boundaries without labeling millions of fellow citizens as enemies of the state. If this practice of dehumanization becomes our new normal, are we really comfortable with the path it sets for the next generation? Civility matters.

This reminds me, there's a children's book titled "The Tailor Shop At The Intersection." It's about a dog who works as a tailor and becomes beloved in the community for making beautiful suits. A tailor tells me that the book is surprisingly specific about tailoring details.
