Over the last 15 years, I have majorly worked with founders, product managers, and non-technical leaders who had great ideas, but felt blocked by software. Recently, something changed. AI made writing code much easier. But it did not make understanding software easier. I am seeing a new pattern: Smart people can now generate apps… but don’t really know what they have built, can’t debug confidently, and still depend heavily on developers for every decision. So I am launching a small live cohort called Builder Cohort. It’s for non-technical professionals who want to: – turn ideas into real products – use AI safely to build MVPs – understand how systems actually work – ship something real without fear No tool hype. No shortcuts. Just clarity, judgment, and hands-on building. This cohort will be small (10–15 people). If this resonates, details are here: 👉 pawarkishor.notion.site/Builder-Cohort… I would also love to hear, where do you feel most blocked today when working with software?

do you understand what just happened to one of the most used npm packages on the internet? → axios gets downloaded over 100 million times a week and today it got compromised → an attacker hijacked the npm credentials of a lead axios maintainer… changed the account email to an anonymous ProtonMail address… and manually published two poisoned versions → axios@1.14.1 and axios@0.30.4… neither version contains a single line of malicious code inside axios itself. instead they inject a fake dependency called plain-crypto-js that drops a remote access trojan on your machine → the fake dependency was staged 18 hours in advance… three separate payloads were pre-built for macOS, Windows, and Linux… both release branches were hit within 39 minutes. every trace was designed to self-destruct after execution too → there’s no tag in the axios GitHub repo for 1.14.1. it was published outside the normal release process entirely... bypassed CI/CD completely → StepSecurity called it one of the most operationally sophisticated supply chain attacks ever against a top 10 npm package → a routine npm install silently opens a backdoor… no warning… no suspicious code visible in axios itself this is the wake up call all vibe coding bros need to hear right now: → if you installed either version… assume your system is compromised → pin to axios@1.14.0 or axios@0.30.3 → rotate all secrets, API keys, SSH keys, and credentials on affected machines → check network logs for C2 connections → add –ignore-scripts to CI npm installs going forward 100 million weekly downloads and one compromised maintainer account… that’s all it took to wreak absolute havoc and I imagine we see a whole lot more of these… crazy times ahead for cybersecurity and vibe coding be safe out there y’all

Last weekend, I spoke with @_pranav_naik11 about topics many engineering students are curious about. The intent was simple: To share what I have learned from experience — so someone starting today doesn’t have to learn everything the hard way.

Gaurav gera at 52 getting all the recognition and love he so rightly deserves. His journey from chutki to Aalam bhai of Dhurandhar 2 is so inspiring because it tells you... if you are consistent with your efforts, year after year, success ek din jhakk maar ke aapke paas aayegi hi. Even the universe bows in front of a relentless soul

@trikcode @ponnappa Right observation. However, the concern has been how the information was used after it has been shared, no?

Dhurandhar is a Bollywood film Ideally Amitabh Bachchan should have praised it... But India's greatest actor Rajinikanth did… Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Aamir khan should have tweeted... But Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Ram Charan did… Sanjay Leela Bhansali should have spoken... But S. S. Rajamouli did… Most embarrassing part? Even Ranveer Singh's wife Deepika Padukone hasn't praised it yet… If you truly understand Bollywood... you'll understand this tweet… It's still not too late...

Do not keep looking for beginner-friendly content, because for harder topics, there is none. Also, they often optimize for feeling smart rather than becoming smart. Try to build a habit of reading, watching, and absorbing detailed information and concepts. This will not only help you move away from being spoon-fed, but it will also make you better at abstract thinking. I believe abstract thinking will become crucial in the coming decade, as the world shifts toward solving more complex and ambiguous problems that are not easily visualized and comprehended. We are seeing an early sign of the drift with you-know-what. Extrapolating from here, I would say it is going to be increasingly vital for us to think beyond the obvious. The people who will navigate that well are not the ones who found the best beginner guide. They will be the ones who learned to sit with the hard stuff until it made sense.
