@joshi Surely this is because people see the insane amount of adverts and now also paywall and just bounce off. Too much noise, no signal. And then when they do click through the report is often about something not local. If you make the product garbage people stop buying it.

The High Court just sentenced a "freeman on the land" to six months for contempt of court, for breach of a planning injunction. He was lucky not to also get a contempt charge for his behaviour in court.

The closing song on an album given a 5* review in Q and described - correctly - as “a bruised, bleeding masterpiece”. They were never better. I took great delight in working out the guitar part in no time at all. Could I sing it? Not a fucking chance.

Radiohead - Street Spirit (#TOTP 1995) From their second album, The Bends, the song was considered by Radiohead a breakthrough in their songwriting. It also became their biggest hit single to that point, reaching top 5 on the UK Singles Chart & later certified silver in sales.

I see some weird things but this takes the biscuit. A vulnerability in the Companies House website, that let anyone view the private dashboard of any one of the five million registered companies, see directors' personal details. And modify them.

@game_collection I ordered back in Nov when the price was higher - will I get the different back automatically? I used points for at least some of the order. (Also please ship it soon!)

We're a disgrace in the UK, Madi Dias couldn't sell enough tickets at modest venues on a headline tour. Only London is going ahead. She's a super talent, written songs you'll know so well, and her own music is brilliantly understated.

@SimonCalder Even as someone who has visited a lot in the past there are plenty other options and it feels like a tacit endorsement to travel there at this point. Plus the social media check is a way of chilling speech.

For the 80% who say they wouldn’t go to the US, I want to understand the main reason for saying so. Are you boycotting due to recent political events? Worried about personal safety? Alarmed about social media screening on arrival? Or you're just not interested in going to the US?

My texts are blowing up: Cops Forced to Explain Why AI Generated Police Report Claimed Officer Transformed Into Frog futurism.com/artificial-int… As we showed last year, Axon's DraftOne did *NOT* save time in completing officer reports. Frankly, we did not test the "will this write reports claiming an officer turned into a frog." doi.org/10.1007/s11292…

@agile_phil One thing I still don’t understand from new changes. If I’ve used nothing in last 24 hours and bump charge from 11:30pm-5:30am will that be cheap or not in the new regime? (Assume no other charging next 24h)

@agile_phil So if you haven’t used any smart charging and do a bump charge that takes under 6 hours and start it at 11:30pm will that be cheap? I was wondering if no bump charging would ever be cheap now. It’s what we’d been doing as we assumed the throttling via Ohme was a car issue.

@mikeasharp @g__j Ah ok. That’s the new bit really - if the charging goes over 6 hours during the off-peak period then we’ll bill the car at the bump rate whilst the rest of the house is still low rate. And that’s total of 6 hours charging not the sum of half-hour blocks.

@agile_phil @OctopusEnergy It's my experience with my Ohme Home Pro that any 15 minute schedules generated always range between 1.4kW and 3.8kW at a 16A maximum rate. Why would Octopus create a 15 minute period if the intention was not to reduce the kW rate? I posted images showing this earlier.

@OctopusEnergy @agile_phil Can you answer a quick question please - I see in various groups people think Octopus controls the power a Zappi provides to the car - I think you just turn charging on and tell it how many kwh’s to provide for 30 min time slot - what actually happens?

@agile_phil Doesn’t seem to a state of charge issue for me (Ohme) quite often the throttling is early in the charge

@donlinch @OctopusEnergy Correct. We send the charging schedule but no request for any kind of throttling. Any throttling is the charger or car - even the car will slow down as it approaches 100% charge.

@dallan147 @agile_phil @roger_farley @DaveLunt97 Never had this issue when my prev car was linked rather than my charger. As I understand it I can’t link two VW ID vehicles to octopus directly so am having to use charger integration and am getting the throttling on Ohme
