Yesterday, we did not meet the standard of excellence you expect and that we expect of ourselves. To help provide some relief to those affected, we will give you a $20 account credit that can be easily redeemed by logging into the myVerizon app. You will receive a text message when the credit is available. On average, this covers multiple days of service. Business customers will be contacted directly about their credits.
This credit isn’t meant to make up for what happened. No credit really can. But it’s a way of acknowledging your time and showing that this matters to us.
If you’re still having trouble connecting, please restart your device (power down and power back on). This is the fastest way to reconnect your phone to the network.
We are sorry for what you experienced and will continue to work hard day and night to provide the outstanding network and service that you expect from Verizon.
Verizon's team is on the ground actively working to fix today’s service issue that is impacting some customers. We know this is a huge inconvenience, and our top priority is to get you back online and connected as fast as possible. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
We are aware of an issue impacting wireless voice and data services for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and are working to identify and solve the issue quickly. We understand how important reliable connectivity is and apologize for the inconvenience.
@VerizonNews@Verizon Again? This is twice in 3 months yet no credits offered or anything to slightly make up for the lost service we all pay a fair bit of money for. This is ridiculous.
@taylorswift13 my 3 & 4 year old have discovered the Fate of Ophelia. We’re on car ride 3 of it playing on a loop. My 4 year old is very worried that you’re alone because of you saying “you saw me all alone” My 4 year old calms down as soon as it’s on. The song is magic it seems.
It's not even that the service is down, it's the fact that Verizon doesn't even acknowledge there's an issue. I need to find out from Twitter that there's a problem. Smh I'm done.
Verizon customers across the U.S., particularly in the Northeast, experienced wireless outages Saturday afternoon, according to Downdetector. ktvu.com/news/verizon-d…
@Your_Thought_0 Unlike my soon to be ex husband, I won’t lie about him on social media. Too bad he has me blocked so he doesn’t even know I saw his comment about me on this thread.
@ghostiee95 What @silentamendment failed to tell you is his 4th child is with the wife he abandoned while his 5th child is with his best friend turned girlfriend who was supposedly already in the process of an abortion.
@soidoona I love how my husband retweeted this when he’s the one guilty of all this. Walked out on his 3 young children and pregnant wife but he’s the victim😂
A Davenport police officer shot and killed a dog in front of two young boys on Wednesday. Police say he was aggressive. The dog's owner says the 2-year-old named Myst was his best buddy.

@SilentAmendment You mean what you’ve been doing to them this whole time? They were expecting to see you today and surprise surprise, you let them down again.
