Why did Quake even die, this game is peak

I can’t believe Battlefield of all things was the game to (finally) bring the movement debate into the mainstream Now that it’s here: NOT EVERY GAME NEEDS MOVEMENT HOLY SHIT. Stop shoehorning it into everything No, movement doesn’t automatically make your game better. Faster pacing doesn’t automatically make your game better. Movement games aren’t automatically more skillful than games without it There are so many different ways to create high skill gaps with fun, interesting, complex mechanics beyond making you faster or adding more ways to move your character. Movement is easily the most boring, oversaturated “skill gap” there is For all the people who constantly advocate for movement, claiming a game is worse without it, or say “lol you’re just bad” towards anyone who dislikes it, here’s a truth nuke for ya You secretly rely on it as a crutch because any other game mechanic that requires actual brain power and strategy would be a REAL skill gap. Hop off the movement dick and realize there’s more possibilities out there Movement CAN be fun and rewarding. Not all movement games are bad, but thinking all games need movement is. Let Battlefield be Battlefield

You're telling me COD3 had Halo style flag grabbing?? but they couldn't add that to any of the games that we played CTF competitively?!

The number of people revealing their ignorance regarding aim recently is interesting.

@Pharmageddon24 Most economists are Keynesians and don't even understand simple things like inflation (or pretend not to)

it's even better in practice, from a video as old as the song x.com/ddkesports/sta…
