Bought 10 BTC at $2200 sold and bought along the way but in Jan sold the last of my BTC and built a $3M home. First time in 9 years or so that don't own crypto, feels weird but unless I mess up bad from here, life for my young family is going to be infinitely easier than for most. Forever grateful to crypto and Bitcoin.

It's always a delight to wake up to messages like this—especially from someone who thinks sending hate mail with their full name and employer attached is a solid life choice. Pro tip: If you're going to be nasty, at least be smart about it. And if you're going to be dumb, maybe don't also be nasty. I won't drop this particular genius’s name or tag the manufacturer of aquatic craft he represents, but only because I don’t want to be responsible for him losing his job fiberglassing hulls. That would be heartbreaking. Now, let’s address the rant itself. First off, I’m incredibly proud of a lot of what @Benefactor0101 and his team at @GoGalaGames has accomplished. While I left almost a year ago, there’s a ton that was done both before and after my departure that deserves recognition and for which the team should absolutely be proud. Calling Town Star the only game completely ignores the work of incredibly talented teams that poured their time into Last Expedition, The Walking Dead Empires, and Mirandus. Reducing it all to a single game is an insult to the developers, designers, and engineers who actually built these experiences. Also, Town Star a ponzi? People love to throw that term around without having the foggiest idea of what it actually means. Next, let's talk about GalaChain. While not everything happened the way I would have done it (or in the order I’d have preferred), serious technological work has been put into that blockchain. The people who built it can and should be proud of their contributions. I completely understand why people are frustrated. I don’t love how things have gone for the community either, but I’m not the one making those calls—especially now that I haven’t been there for almost a year. Also, much of the issue is due to general markets...yeah, $GALA is down a bit more than $SAND or $MANA, but not as much as $ILV over the last year. Markets suck and that makes people angry and rude. Go get upset at memecoiners or track down the wallets using MEVs to fuck with everyone. Don't waste your time yelling at people who are actually working in the space. It won't get you anywhere, and you look like a jackass. At the end of the day, if someone wants to be angry, that's fine. But at least be accurate. And maybe—just maybe—don't attach your employer's name to your tantrum.

Trump’s yapping about his BTC stash dreams from the States, and my euros are like, “Mate, can you hurry up and moon already?” Ukraine’s Timeout Ukraine’s waving a 30-day ceasefire flag, Putin’s probably sulking into his vodka, but I’m over here with my croissant, toasting to quieter skies. Fingers crossed the world’s drama takes a nap too. Starlink Beams to India Elon’s zapping internet from space to India today, rural folks are hyped, and I’m jealous my Wi-Fi still sounds like a dial-up modem having a tantrum. Maybe I’ll hitch a ride on a satellite next. Pakistan’s Train Win That train hijack mess? 155 rescued, 27 bad guys down, heroes in Pakistan are popping off today. I’m just glad my commute’s biggest foe is a late bus, not a standoff.

This will be the highlight of the year for 2025!!
