I officially won the case against YouTube! A legal body officially certified under EU law has ruled on my demonetization case against YouTube and found in my favour on every point, i.e “I won”. Official decision: — YouTube’s demonetization was declared unlawful — The measure must be overturned — YouTube pays the costs The Arbiter found: YouTube contradicted itself. My channel was reviewed and readmitted to the Partner Program on April 15. Nine days later, YouTube demonetized it again for the same reason. If that reason still applied, the readmission would never have happened. The remedy YouTube offered was impossible. YouTube said monetization could only return if the related channel was readmitted, but that channel was deleted and cannot be readmitted. The Arbiter called this “a permanent measure with no defined path to resolution.” No human reviewed my appeal. My video appeal was rejected automatically within hours. Under EU law, that’s not allowed. The Arbiter concluded no human reviewer was assigned to my case. The policy was hidden. YouTube relied on a rule that only exists in its internal resources, creators couldn’t read it. YouTube offered no defence. They argued only that the case didn’t apply to them. They said nothing to justify what they did. Under EU law, YouTube has a duty to cooperate in good faith with this ruling. So @TeamYouTube please do the right thing, manually clear “related channel” flag and restore my channel’s monetization. I’ve been waiting half year now.

@itsrohal The issue with this, and what ive seen with a mot of similar cases, is even when you prove without a doubt that YouTube made a mistake, there's no humans working their to fix the error, so you get stuck in an infinite loop on bot responses. They need a call center with real human

@bertbrussen My goal is to put competent human eye’s on my case and other cases similar to mine (with impossible remedy) and hidden internal policy (funny enough - this used to be hidden policy is now public). But I don’t believe so much of bad PR and reports to DSA are worth being ignorant.

@itsrohal The EU legal body isn't gonna help you. It has no legal power to force Google to do anything. Youtube will just ignore it, this happens to thousands of creators.

@itsrohal I've been on YouTube for 16 years as a creator. Never had this problem but know some people who have. YouTube desperately need a human review team.

The only way to win this appeal is to get the original channel terminated (the main channel that caused this) Personally tried and tested 👍

My channel is in good standing and YouTube’s own most recent review confirmed it. • I served the full 90-day waiting period, reapplied, and was accepted back into YPP. Nine days later, an automated system demonetized me again under the same “related channel” reason. • The other channel was deleted half a year ago, no related channel exists anymore.

Breakdown of what’s happening with my YouTube channel👇🏼 I was demonetized for being “related” to another channel I owned. That channel was deleted half a year ago. It does not exist. I waited the mandatory 90 days. I reapplied. A YouTube reviewer accepted my channel back into the Partner Program. I was monetized. 10 days later, an automated system demonetized me again, for being related to that same channel. The one that doesn’t exist. The one a reviewer just cleared me on. YouTube’s solution: wait another 90 days, reapply, get accepted, get demonetized again. Please @TeamYouTube can you investigate this?
