Anthropic just pulled Claude Code from the Pro plan. Pro users wanting it need Max now. $100/month minimum. 5x jump. I'm on Max 20x so I'm fine. Flagging for anyone on Pro who's about to find out. No announcement. Just a pricing page edit.

i kakve uopce veze imaju place konobara s placama kirurga, znaci sto je placa konobaru veca, kirurgu je manja?
Država je stvarno sjebana kad su konobari i kuhari traženiji i bolje plaćeni od AI inženjera i neurokirurga.
Ne zato što oni ne zaslužuju više nego zato što smo potpuno sjebali prioritete, obrazovanje i sustav vrijednosti.
Pa ti budi debil i studiraj.
Nah, there's a bunch of well-funded competitors in coding agents domain, we'll probably gonna see further improvements and optimizations and price/quality ration will get better in the mid/long term.
Couple of weeks means nothing, it could just be Anthropic using resources to train some model or something like that.

You reach api limits sooner and get worse results as the context gets too big.

wonder how long it's gonna take till data sets containing feature estimates that agents are trained on get up to date.
claude & codex warn me not to do something cause it's a big rewrite that takes weeks and then implement it in 12 minutes.
it's amazing that you can just open a new branch and turn the product upside-down just to test an idea in 1 hour.

@ivan_brko @_weidai When? I have a Max plan. I have been using Opus and Sonnet 4.6 all morning for several hrs in Claude code in Antigravity, Cowork and Chat projects on the desktop in 3 projects simultaneousl. Only issue was when I maxed a desktop chat project and had to continue in a new one.

@ivan_brko @_weidai interesting. because i hit my limits very fast with opus, even though we’re on 2x usage, so im starting to consider switching to sonnet more often. anyways thanks for the response

@moa_brg @trq212 @amorriscode had similar issues while they had an outage, usage jumped to 100% without any warnings before that you usually get at 90% etc

@trq212 @amorriscode Using Max 20x, this morning with 3 prompts, only one session, less than 50% context, I reached out 100% usage limit. Happening to a lot of people. I tried to get help, I had to cancel, impossible to work this way. Happening since Monday I think, but today was way worse.

You are welcome to use Claude Code if you want, but remember that your competitor, who's about to kick your ass, is using Codex.

safety classifier in claude code is a great idea, but i wish they gave a nudge or something when it's not working or go back to default mode.
it just halts the agent progress silently at the moment, it can't get permission from the classifier so it stops the work without notice.

@oskargroth absolutely agree.
they now have to build a product that's capable of tracking quality of codex, claude code, replit etc when it comes to understanding the codebase + push people to use their tool and not the one you're already used to.

I really like Linear, but I decided to unsubscribe last month.
I simply don't need to pay $200/yr for managing what is now mostly transient .md files for an agent. And everything in this announcement is already built-in functionality in all coding agents.
